Do you have your Powerball ticket for tonight and what would you do if you won 800 million dollars? I'm too practical so I'd probably start investing instead of being frivolous right away. But I'd make sure my family was set up for life, decide what kind of charities I'd want to set up, go car shopping, take my family shopping for extravagant gifts, get about a million in cash and just roll around on it and go into work Monday to watch the signs being changed from Lowe's to Zeke's. I might even buy this site and say "My rules, bitches." What would you do?

First thing I would do is not tell anyone except my partner and mother. I don't need cousins, aunts and uncles from all over the place to call me 'cuz they need a loan.

Second, travel all over the globe, take selfies and post them on Facebook with a caption that I have a new job with travel privileges.

Will the winner(s) be required to go public? I'd keep it a secret too just to avoid being kidnapped.

If I understand it correctly, there have been past winners who claimed anonymity. I guess they visited or called some lottery office and told them straight up, what they wanted. I definitely would not show up at the gas station I bought it from to claim the prize.

Remain anonymous, move, give to family, friends and charities.

Claiming it anonymously depend son your state's laws. In my state, that is not possible. That said, I and my immediate family, would disappear.

Hm One person can dream right. I'd pay off some bills, give some to family/relatives and to some charities. I'd travel the world for about 2-3 months then come back to reality. I'd set up a movie/music production company and seriously pursue my entertainment side career. Or better yet, I'll put in and join LionsGate or Plan B production company.

I'd definitely remain anonymous. I'd share with my family and still go to work like nothing has changed except I'd move into a better home though. My home now is in a noisy location, and I need my peace and quiet time.

i pretty much wouldnt tell anyone. I would pay off a bunch of family things secretly (like just go to the bank and tell them to negate the mortgages). Set up a trust for family and then let them manage it by election, telling them, that is everything they get, manage it well if they figure it out.

I would buy 10 million dollars in gold, a property in the boonies, pay off the taxes for it for 50 years, then bury the gold and concrete the whole place in. Just in case I am ever stupid with money I want the gold available.

I would probably be afraid to leave the house though.

I would visit some museums around the world til i got bored. then go home and paint for a while and start my new art gallery with paintings I like, only for me.
