I'm bothered most by the atrocious grammar.

I've run up against the pseudo-verb "surveil" many times in my aerospace industry work, and from friends who work in law enforcement.

    It ain't English.

Take note, illiterates - the root verb of surveillance is survey.

Language changes and new words and changes are introduced all the time. It shouldn't worry you. A language is toncommunicate. If people start to say something that was BEFORE incorrect, i.e for free, its very useage makes it correct. If this never happened we would still be eating Naranges and noy oranges ;) .
