Malta surprises its visitors with an incredible variety of vacation ideas – and tops it off with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. Since Malta was a British colony until 1964, making yourself understood in English isn’t a problem.

Malta, situated just 95 km (60 miles) south of Sicily in the heart of the Mediterranean, can be easily reached directly from continental Europe in less than three hours. Tours of discovery through 7000 years of history, relaxing times on the beautiful sandy beaches, the complete range of water sports, the chance to go diving in one of the clearest and warmest bodies of water in Europe, festivals and events, art and culture, the Mediterranean cuisine – there are many reasons why more and more guests from the international LGBT community are discovering Malta as a year-round destination!

The Hilton Malta is located in the heart of modern Portomaso, St. Julian’s, which is only 15 minutes from the UNESCO world cultural heritage site of the city of Valletta. The lively nightlife district of Paceville is within walking distance. Relax in one of its four outdoor pools right on the Mediterranean, work out in the LivingWell Health Club or simply enjoy the luxury of our beautifully appointed and comfortable rooms.

FYI for non-American RJ users, in the terms & conditions it indicates the contest is ONLY open to US residents.

    Reporting from Malta:
It's winter and there is a lot of activity on grindr. I've never had so many messages on my travels.

There is a university here and a burgeoning tech scene and financial sector which also brings in local and European workers here.
All makes for a good mix of people.

The historic ruins are amazing I saw some of the places they used to film Game of Thrones.

In the summer it's the place to be apparently I'd definitely come back.
