Two beefy men grappling and punching in tight shorts is what first drew me to UFC mixed martial arts and grappling. Now that I am older an wiser I appreciate the skill of these athletes more than I did then. But martial skill asside, some of the fun has been lost from MMA with the passing of the tight fight shorts.
So what happened?
Did the producers, dirdectors or whoever they are discover that there were a lot of gay men watching MMA and decide that it wasn't really the demographic they were aiming at.
Did the athletes think, "Hey, these tight shorts are gay, lets wear boardies instead."
