I don't have time to watch TV all that much, and don't find anything thereon hardly worth any merit anyway. I have been laid up in bed with some way crazy back muscles knotted up putting heat on them, and finally put on "Mozart in the Jungle" via my Amazon account.

The show has been pretty delightful. Anyone else a fan, or been watching it?

I like the fast life of those in New York. I like the sophistication of artists and musicians in that big City, I love most of the music, and the dynamics of the characters are delightful, and especially that totally awesome "Maestro" Rodrigo from Mexico who conducts the orchestra. In real life, he'd be the kind of guy I'd totally love as a BF (though he's straight.)

A fun show, but coming from someone who doesn't watch much TV, I was curious to see if it is up to par with the interests of other guys on here?

I've also watched some "gay" themed flicks on there. Actually, for being low budget, a few of them had some compelling characters and actors. One guy who in the show you thought was straight (he had a girlfriend) all of a sudden is seen cruising rest rooms and having guys go into stalls and giving him a good pounding. Then it shows him sitting in an empty bathtub (clothed) on the phone sobbing as he discloses to someone his homosexuality. At first, as he labors to get it out, and is sobbing, you assume it is his girlfriend who just moved from Chicago to LA for a great job, but then you find it was his mother. That scene made me bawl. So well acted. Such a sexy and beautiful man, yet somewhat a scared little boy starting to come to terms with the fact that he really digs sex with and connection to men.

I love Mozart In the Jungle. I like that it gives a different perspective on what is considered to be "high art", because the world of classical music is most often seen to be snobby and only meant for rich people. It's a lot of fun to watch. I hope they'll get season 2 up here in Canada soon.

Binge watched Season 1 and 2 of Mozart over a 3 day period. It was fun and smart and all, but the antics of the man-child Maestro finally did get a bit annoying. And that hippie-dippie wife of his is totally unbelievable bonkers. Wait 'till you see her decide to join a nunnery. When have you ever seen that much cleavage in a nun's habit? I thought one of her lungs was gonna' fall out!
