NYT: Michael R. Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York City, is once again weighing a third-party bid for the presidency, frustrated by what he sees as a race gone haywire, associates said.

Trump Gleeful of Bloomberg Run as It Would Destroy Democrat Chances

NYT: Last week, Mr. Trump told ABC News that he believed that Mr. Bloomberg would draw votes from Mrs. Clinton if she were the Democratic nominee.

He hasn't announced a run. There are reports that he is looking into how feasible it would be if Sanders is the Dem nominee (big if!). The one poll I saw had him in 3rd.

    That's what I read too:

Said Mr. Rendell, a close ally of Mrs. Clinton’s who is also a friend of Mr. Bloomberg’s. “If Hillary wins the nomination, Hillary is mainstream enough that Mike would have no chance, and Mike’s not going to go on a suicide mission.”

It all depends on Clinton losing the nomination (unlikely) or stepping down over the email affair (should the FBI investigation conclude she did something illegal and charges are recommended).

It be interesting to see - but he has until March to get into the race after that his chances decline, and whether running as an independent gets him elected the odds are even slimmer to secure the White House.

You keep dreaming of an easy Hillary nomination and than end up shocked that Sanders beat this incompetent, corrupt whore.

He could also be Bernie's Ross Perot as well. However at least when Bloomberg left the mayors chair, the city of New York had a significant budget surplus. Now under the ultra leftist DiBlasio or however you spell his name, the city is facing increasing financial instability and uncertainty.
