Oklahoma introduces record 26 anti-gay bills

"At least 26 anti-gay bills have been introduced in the Oklahoma legislature this year before state lawmakers have even convened on 1 February – what appears to be a new record in hate.

They are among more than 100 anti-LGBTI bills in 26 states, and surpass the 23 that were filed in Texas last year."

The narrow minded bible thumping screwballs in both Oklahoma and Texas are greatly alarmed by the slowly but steadily changing attitudes of acceptance towards gay, lesbian, and bisexual people in their states. They are trying to preserve the bad old days of bigotry and ignorance. They continue to cover up their wrongdoing by endlessly quoting the Bible.

Sad indeed... in a changing world, those losing influence try and "restablish" the old scene locally... probably something like that happened after the Civil Rights movement, but gradually even the bigoted will change....

Let them propose their laws, let them pass their laws, and let them reap what they sow. Oklahoma's budget is in tatters. Entrenching themselves as a bastion of bigotry and intolerance will not attract the sort of employers or investors that the state needs. When they start losing business, and start losing lawsuits, they'll have no choice but to evolve (even though they don't "believe" in evolution).

Oklahoma along with Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi are all being held way back in time by all the narrow minded bible thumping screwballs who have wrecked havoc on those states financial health and demolished the GOP organizations in those six states. Why the large majority of voters in those states keep voting in all these right wing extremists is baffling to say the least.

This is what happens when you elect REPUBLICANS -- the party of bigotry.
The GOP dinosaurs want to damage our country as much as they can before they die off entirely -- and they're doing a pretty good job.
