    ...it's probably not the potato itself that made the photograph so pricey. It was taken by acclaimed photographer Kevin Abosch in 2010 and is one of three versions of the print in existence.

    Good grief! I don't care who took the picture or how many "versions" there are, it is potato! Certainly not "worth" $1 million. Anyone willing to pay that much for a picture of a spud simply has too much money.

    Now, I'm sure he sees this as an investment, and will someday auction the photo off and make a huge profit, just showing again that some people have too much money. If I had billions, I would not waste money like that. I'd rather give a million dollars to a charity or non-profit.
