PROVING you're gay to the Turkish army to avoid service by showing them a picture. BUT ONLY IF YOUR FACE IS VISIBLE and your the BOTTOM.

Sounds like they need to be educated. They're still stuck on equating gay to fem boys only. icon_rolleyes.gif

If you're looking for action, you'd probably get more in the Turkish army than out if it.

I see this changing as they are pressed politically by their neighbors to be part of ever conflict in the area. We already have seen skirmishes with Russia over its airspace being infringed upon as well as aircraft being shot down with Russia escalating tensions. Additionally, Syria, Iraq and Iran on its borders and the amount of refugees along its borders pressing for its military to be there as well, not to mention having to balance conflict with these regimes as well...so I see the military in a jam of trying to keep its nonsense doctrine of gays not serving on going, but they will need men regardless of sexual orientation to serve.

That's exactly what happened in Germany. They had a ban on openly gay men in the military and then all sorts of drafted straight men declared themselves gay. The authorities started to ask for proof, and the proof was getting more and more graphical. Eventually they just gave up both ways: gays can serve openly, and there is no draft any longer.

What do you expect from a country like Turkey??
When they admit to killing all those Armenians (which they still deny)...Maybe i will change my mind a bit.
I really wish America had never used them as allies.
