the second thread was getting long, but here is the link for part 1: http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/313189/, and here is the link for part 2: http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/360230/

my site seeks to refute stereotypes about exotic dancers, and gives a human story to what i do. i get very tired of the assumptions that are lobbed at me, so this is the way i answer the various questions, comments, and experiences i come up against in this particular career.

anyway, if you are interested please feel free to visit:

I've never had the benefit of a lap dance or been up close to a stripper, but I can't imagine just grabbing a guy. I understand he is there and performing for my benefit, but if I were to touch him it would be careful and considerate.

Since I too, never had the benefit of a lap dance, I'm not sure what I would do, or even if I'd want one (in public.) I guess I associate the actions on my part to something more personal and intimate and would have difficulty separating the emotional connection with an objectifying action. While I realize that, from a professional level, you have to deal with this, I have to say that the emotional strength and control that you have to exercise in addition to the art and technical control of dancing is beyond me.

This, to me, is no different than the difference of creating commercial art and personal art ('fine art' in some cases). Commercial art requires designing for the audience. It may not be from the heart at all, or it may be. You have to separate it through detachment so that you are not hurt by disparaging remarks as they are part of the trade. When I create art on a personal level though, my heart is on my sleeve. I do want people to like it and I try not to be hurt if they don't. It is different though, because it is a reflection of part of my soul. This is not 'what you want' but rather 'who I am.'

The only time I was at a strip club was in Toronto at Remington's several years ago. They strip down totally nude and hard there. A very attractive guy asked if I wanted a private dance, but I was too shy and also figured I couldn't touch him. I later found out I could have gone as far with him as he'd like.

I like the whole concept. If you ever want to redesign that blog just let know, cause I think I can make something really cool for it.

    Great read...
    My thoughts...
You can't stop (shut-off) giving of yourself or you close all doors and soon it's just you and a dark room with nothing to offer you back.
"That which doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger"...
    These adages are, simply, true.
Unfortunately, you gave in to some one who [sounds like] is a "user" – “given an inch takes the mile” - he has possibly adapted to being the things he hated and felt he couldn't escape when younger. He’s become the dark side of his life’s experiences...
Some grow from those, others are absorbed in to it - You either reach for the light and grow or wallow in the shallows until absorbed by the sponge.

I think what you gave back to this man, meant more to him than you may know and possibly he won't even know until this morning... And I'm not talkin about his 20 bucks.
So you need to reflect - no time like the present and no better way to it than in solitude --> it's how I often reflect, evaluate, pack it away and move forward.
    Rock On.

This entry is a short description of a chatting scenario in which I was first used as a weapon against someone's boyfriend and then called a whore. It'd be funny if it weren't hypocritical and stupid.
