They're all in the political section. The Realjock Brits are all experts in American politics. Fitness doesn't appear to be their thing.

    Present.

I don't really care about politics in general.
And for me there's little difference between American Politics and those awful reality tv shows.

Well America does like to force its6will onto other county's, while allowing it's self free will. Also the negative impact americanism has not only had on Americans, but much of the world. If america6gets a cold, it can and has infected other countr6with influenza. Thus we all have a right to an opinion of America.

I'm not sure if this fellow had ever visited Britain.

We can talk or write against the Bible and Jesus Christ and many may merely nod in agreement, but nothing else happens. Everyone to his own opinion.

In Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, or any other Muslim country, anyone writing or talking against Muhammad, or even publishing jokes about him in the papers is certain to face the death penalty.

And so we don't have freedom of speech?

Hate speech laws in the United Kingdom are found in several statutes...The penalties for hate speech include fines, imprisonment, or both.

So no, I wouldn't say you have freedom of speech.

There's a big difference between freedom of speech and hate speech.

Freedom of speech means you have the right to say whatever you like. It does not mean that you are immune to any consequences of what you are saying. Hate speech laws are there for a reason and I am very glad we have them. If you're not preaching hatred then you have nothing to worry about.

If you're going to insult someone, proofread, but sloppy is to be expected from someone whose profile picture is of himself with is tongue hanging out like a baffoon.

So do you think someone should be allowed to threaten to kill, rape, or otherwise harm someone with impunity? Do you think it's right for a hate preacher to stir up animosity and hatred towards religious groups, or minorities? Is it cool with you if someone were to publish an online character assassination of you stating you're a dangerous sexual predator of children?

    Where is your line?

    Wow, xenophobic much?

Sadly some Americans have a very warped impression of the rest of the world for some reason. Why do you have that impression? What evidence supports your statement?

Remember, America is kind of Britain's baby. Is it human nature to rebel against your parents? :-D

Libel and slander are not protected by free speech. As long as what I say is true or my opinion I'm protected. So here in America people can say all the nasty things they want about homosexuals in general, or Muslims in general, or Christians in general, or Jews in general, or socialist in general, etc. without fear of being prosecuted for a hate crime. One can opine that they believe homosexuals are the spawn of Satan and should be eradicated or that Muslims are a danger to national security and should be deported or that Christians should be executed for crimes against humanity or an Imam can preach all the hate he wants in his Mosque without fear of being charged under a hate speech law. I may not like what you say but I'll defend your right to say it.

Sam27 saidI have some British friends, they have to wear nice and clean outfit. They drink tea with milk a lot. They have really nice Jaguar car. Their English accents are too deep and sexy.

Then they see Americans, fat and ugly people that eat lot of unhealthy foods. They can't speak proper British English. They are brainwashed by their medias. They blame brits for everything. They like stupid sport, American football. In Uk popular sport is football (play with your foot) soccer.

    -typing from my phone

Pull the plug. There's no brain activity.

France also has freedom of speech and what they do with it? Charlie Hebdo.
In practice there is little difference between the UK and USA in terms of freedom of speech.

Anytime someone actually exercises something against popular opinion, they are shot down and black listed - McCarthyism. It happens in Britain it happens in the USA.
If I were in the US and said something that the police didn't like I'd be arrested.

Freedom of speech is an illusion. The people in power have the power to shut down and drown out any real freedom of speech.

The current laws in the UK protect against hate crimes. However I do believe that we are in an age where there is the threat of the erosion of civil liberties all in the guise of counter terrorism. We shall see how that pans out.
