Hey guys, so i really want to leave my country, have no idea where to go what to do or how to do it, i really just want to enjoy the quality of living and not live with no hope. At this point in life i am at a stand still and not happy with the way my life is and where it's going. I admire and aspire to be like most of the guys on here. Everyone seems to be in a good place in their life and happy with where its going and what they achieve.

I want to be there too, maybe im not working hard enough or im doing things wrong i don't know but i really just want to be something and someone in life.

Being a South African should give you more opportunities as a South African Passport allows people to travel to many countries without requiring a visa. This puts you ahead of many other people who want to explore their life but don't have the means as a result of their geography. Why not take one of those teaching English position abroad and see what it comes up for you?

Also, this is internet. Here everyone's life looks enviable while ours the shittiest.

I admire your desire to improve your situation financially and take charge of your life.

Do spend some time looking inward as well and don't neglect philosophical reasoning. You wouldn't want to end up spending too little effort developing your mind and capacity for wisdom and understanding.

It is easy to see more financially success and more material success as what you want in life but do understand that that can only make you as happy as your understanding of your own nature. Inner achievement is as important or moreso than outer.

I only mention this, because you already are someone and something in life. If you can't see that now, money and success may not ever help you to see it.

It took me a few years to realise that life can be just as green in my own back yard. Even though, I actually live in some very dry places.

Something just seems to work out. Oddly!

You live in the only decent country in the whole of the continent of Africa, and in a city where there is decent gay life. Where do you think you might emigrate to?

USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK offer great opportunities to those who work hard - but you have to get a visa to get to any. Marry a tourist?

There are other places in Africa that are nice to live. It just depends how much money you have.
But S.A. is obviously the best for gays
