Just back from a dinner in West Hollywood: shocked the majority of the table was voting for Trump but they would never admit it publicly.

Ultra leftist, urban enclave of West Hollywood voting for Trump. They probably also like his taking on Wall Street along with keeping Muslim radicals out of the U.S. At least the gay and lesbian community in West Hollywood are not blind sycophants to the donkey dork democrats.

I have many friends who live in Los Angeles and WeHo...all for Trump. I'm not so sure why that is such a big surprise, but whatever. I went to the Trump rally here is Phoenix in December with a group of gay friends -- obviously all supporters of Trump -- it was awesome!

LA voted democrat because socially conservative republicans balk at movies full of sex and violence. But the muslim bombings in France have Hollywood rethinking their priorities....because they know muslims will bomb and murder them. Ditto for gay community.

And again...for the foolish liberal hens who say not all muslims bomb and murder....please show me a reliable way to screen out radical muslims from the regular muslims the democrats are so desperate to bring here.

And also for the foolish liberal hens.....don't bring up people already here....I am talking only of MUSLIMS THE DEMOCRATS PUSH TO BRING HERE.

Probably it is time to evict all the donkey dorks out of Los Angeles City Hall and fill up the city council and mayors chair with either moderate republicans, independents, and any alternative party members. The exact same for the city of Long Beach, boot out all the donkey dorks and replace them with either moderate republicans, independents, and members of alternative or third parties. Come on Los Angeles, come on Long Beach, don't allow both of your proud, prosperous cities to fall under long term democratic monolithic rule. You will all deeply regret it in the long run. Look at Detroit, look at Flint, look at Baltimore, look at most of the other older northern US cities, their grave urban problems are all the result of long term monolithic rule of the corrupt, incompetent, tax and spend donkey dork democrats.

The delegate math is convincing. Trump's high speed train started on June 15,2015. If the GOP establishment or any of his competitors wanted to stop or derail Trump's train, they should have done long time ago. Now it is too late.
The so called Conservative pundits and elites were wrong about Trump from day one. They kept looking at only Trump instead of analyzing the voters and their behavior. They refused to believe in the polls. There were so many debates. If any of the establishment candidates (8 governors and 5 senators) wanted to challenge there was opportunity. The two and three term governors of large States did not have a game plan to compete with Trump. Trump believed in commonsense: WHO INFLUENCES WHOM, WHEN, WHERE, HOW AND WHY IS THE ESSENCE OF POLITICS. Like location, location, in real estate he emphasized voters, voters, voters and media, media media. Trump spent the least amount to campaign and so far he has beaten the other 16 hollow. Who will be nominated has now become yesterday's story.
Tomorrow's story is who will be his running mate? Will he nominate an African American woman, Latino woman, Asian American woman, White woman? To compete with woman votes he may consider a woman. If he can find an African American woman he will be way ahead of Hillary. Geography is also important. Can he suggest someone from California or Texas or Florida?

It's too bad Conde Rice is tainted from Bush administration -- she'd be great. I don't see New Mexico's Susan Martinez being "one heartbeat away" from the Presidency. I think it's more likely Trump goes for someone who is qualified to takeover on day one --- I think John Kasich has a good shot as VP

    I don't even dare venture a guess.

Reason being....Trump always does the unpredictable. Yes, the pundits scream that it's the end of Trump (for the 5,000th time), but then it turns out that the unpredictable was pure genius.

    Very astute comments.

The best run city I ever lived in was Dallas, TX which is pretty conservative. They hire a non-partisan professional City Manager to run things. The politicians still make laws, but at least they don't have political union hacks, payback jobs and other typical corruption you see when democrats get a chokehold on a city.

Probably if Los Angeles and Long Beach along with San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento, and Fresno all voted for Trump, California would be successfully changed from blue to red and San Francisco would be totally irrelevant. I would love to see Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New York also vote for Trump and change from blue to red but the metro areas of Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City will never allow that to happen unfortunately.

NY could break for The Donald. NYC elected Rudy twice as mayor, and he's well respected there. Much will depend on how well he manages the general election, including choosing a running mate.

Mr. Trump needs to select a running mate who has vast political experience. He is an intelligent man, he has to be to have gotten this far in life, but he needs to be reigned in frequently. He recognizes this flaw so I hope that he chooses wisely. I am impressed with Ms. Rice also, and I think that she could bridge the gap between the legislative and executive with some effort, but she has a past, as you stated.
I'm still standing on the neutral ground (nola parlance) and I have to see who gets the nomination for both parties before I decide.

Reigned in frequently? He needs a muzzle! And as for getting far, maybe if any of us started life with $200,000,000 we wouldn't have found it too difficult to go "far", either.

Although if having 3 bankruptcies, and leaving debts and ruined investors behind him like the wake of his yacht is any indication, I don't think I want to sign onto US Trump, Inc.

I am not sold on him. I believe that Mr. Trump will secure the Republican nomination unless he does something so rash that the American voters turn away from him en-masse. He is shrewd and I am sure that he doesn't suffer fools. His method of addressing people is proof of that. I am not sold on his methods by any means, but let's face facts; it is possible that he may be our next president.

I tend to vote for Democratic candidates, but I am waiting to see what happens.

I see this leftist "Deco" guy as a tedious social climber and windbag. He drops dubious hints of association to some status person, location, product or event...a recent claim being his private correspondence with William F. Buckley...lol. But, this one is a teachable moment to show how the left trades in lies and deceptions. Some facts...

ONE: In 1999, Donald Trump's father, Fred Trump, died at age 93 with a net worth of $250MM-$400MM. He was survived by his wife Mary Trump and 4 children.
TWO: Donald Trump ranked #63 on the 1987 Forbes 400 list with a net worth of $850MM, a full 12 years before his father passed away.
THREE: Fred was an investor in his son's very profitable real estate deals. Fred has said that "Everything Donald touches turns to gold."

Donald Trump is a self made man. His father and any associates were tough, old school guys and would never have backed a loser. Donald had the right stuff from a young age. That is undeniable.
