    Any Rihanna fans here?

I'm loving the latest track. Taking it back to the Caribbean.

    Now where the dancehall deh?

That whole new album ANTI is surprisingly great. Everything from Prince-esque soul ("Kiss It Better") to shoe-gaze alt rock ("Same Ol' Mistakes").

"Work", although its gotten some bad reviews, is also very creatively sung and produced, it's definitely a jam, and Rihanna's 14th #1 hit! She's now coming for Mariah Carey's 18 #1s and The Beatles with the all-time high of 20 #1 singles.

She's fun. Just today, a Rihanna song was the pace track during RPM/spin class at the gym ("Diamonds"). Good times.

You must like the bubblegum crap she used to make back in the day. She's actually making more mature, experimental music now.

I really didn't like the song at first but it grew on me. I can't seem to get away from it.

The album was underwhelming considering the unusually long wait. I expected a BEYONCE type of event when it dropped but no... The wait was actually TOO long to the point that Beyonce is selling out stadiums around the globe while Rihanna is forced to postpone and cancel arena tour dates icon_neutral.gif

It's not a long wait. Only 2 years. Rihanna did one album a year for a long time. That is a lot of production she needed to slow down a bit. She also had a few tracks in between albums which aren't on any album. So she hasn't really left the public eye.

Rihanna can still sell out stadiums her star hasn't faded and she doesn't need to compete with Beyoncé. There is enough room for both (and more) stars.
