DOMINUS saidThere's a very alarming extremism in both the Democratic and Republican parties. What bothers me the most, however, is not the extreme positions that these jokers espouse, but the sheer absence of solid rationale or intellectual foundation for their positions. They're uninformed, unhinged from reality, and sophomoric. I just saw this black woman from Black Lives Matter, Ashley Williams, being interviewed on CNN. This woman blames Hillary Clinton for the purported "mass incarceration" of black people. Really? I believe that everyone is entitled to his/her own position, but there's a thin line that separates extremism and stupidity.
Hillary Clinton pushed for mass incarceration, which was a thinly veiled war on the black community which plays out to this day. She perpetuated racial profiling and demonized at risk black youth as superpredators. The rhetoric and the solution were thinly veiled institutional racism, coming from the top echelons of government. They were demonizing and imprisoning juvenile drug users in the black community, whereas drug users in more privileged primarily white communities were treated more like innocent casualties of the war on drugs. The type of rhetoric and polices back then, instilled in children in D.A.R.E., would seem overkill even by Fox News standards these days. Even Clinton had to say she wouldn't use those words today, and she wouldn't, because it's not PC. Either way, the damage is done. White flight and mass incarceration of black people directly stems from policies and rhetoric that Clinton embraced, all while deregulating the economy and exposing the middle class to real predators, and btw pushing DOMA and DADT. The Clintons were basically republicans in blue ties, if you look at what they did. All for money, political power, and a wannabe dynasty. All of this should be common knowledge by now.
Don't say that the people who actually have something to say are jokers when you merely spout off in favor of the status quo, without even knowing what you're talking about. You're entirely dismissing the BLM matter protester when you clearly have no clue about the policies enacted in the previous Clinton administration.
