I love my all beef hot dogs..

    * You can no longer get "two for"
    * The price of these things in stores has sky rocketed to almost unaffordable and ridiculous
    * Brands vary but on average, $6.00 for 1 package of 8 beef dogs, non-all beef dogs are half the price or less than beef

I tried Burger Kings new hot dog (classic) last night, I have to say not bad. You are not "suppose to" put ketchup on a hot dog (who made this rule?), but I have had both.

The hot dog has a nice crunch and 'grilled' flavor and tastes like a beef hot dog. For the price, its pretty good, I have yet to try the chili dog. For anyone who likes hot dogs and your not afraid to try "fast food" style, try this new one before Burger King pulls it, I hope it does well and stays on the menu.

I've seen less than flattering pics on the internet. I'll stick with Costco hot dogs.

I don't shop at Costco (I don't have one near me)

Is this what you buy for hot dogs?

Costco carries both Nathan's and Hebrew National, and you can regularly get both on sale at Safeway and Kroger owned stores for around $3. I make mine by placing 2 on the ends of a paper towel, rolling them in the towel towards each other, dousing it with tap water, and then microwaving the "kit" for 2 minutes, with their buns thrown in for the last 10 seconds. Short of steaming, they're the best!

How can you not have a Costco near you? There;s one on Washington Blvd.

And I'm talking about their food court hot dogs. No membership required. Anyone can buy them.

Hey, I'm told I [should] know something about that, such as things are. Anyway, I picked up a pkg. of Hebrew Nat'l knockwurst at Ralph's this afternoon for $2. Such a deal!icon_cool.gif
