What are the top 2016 Oscar movies you saw or will rent. Are they going to win? Did they win?

    I'd like to see:

    The Big Short

Mad Max at somebody's place with a kickass living room or den with mega flat screen etc.

    Room

Don't want to see The Revenant but do want to see Steve Jobs because I think/heard Fassbender did well and Kate Winslet (I love her acting)

    Spotlight because of Ruffalo

    Creed NOT FOR BOXING

Oh, wait, I did see Ex Machina--nominated for original screenplay.

The Big Short is bro film and somewhat of a downscale Wolf of Wall Street--pass on it.

I saw Mad Max Fury Road on HBO. I would like to see Spotlight since I liked Birdman with Michael Keaton and The Martian.

I manage to miss the Oscar-nominated movies every year because... they're usually not my cup of tea. Except that year Lord of the Rings won.

If the Oscars were all about diversity, why the crude Asian joke?

Steve Jobs was kinda flat and it had issues regarding an abstract screen play that came off as reality because of poor direction.

Spotlight was as entertaining as 60 minutes. You have seen it all before. You have to play dumb ( as liberals often do) to think this is an Oscar grade movie. Bird man had some originality, see that instead.

I missed mad max because the last mad max, thunder doom, sucked . The original and sequel were decent movies. I can't imagine how this would have any originality since the visuals once shocking would be boring now .
