You know it's bad when even the Republicans are abandoning Donald Trump, as fast as they can get to the lifeboats:

Donald Trump's failure to explicitly disavow the Ku Klux Klan and former Grand Wizard David Duke is "disqualifying," Republican pundit Joe Scarborough declared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Monday.
"It’s breathtaking. That is disqualifying right there. To say you don’t know about the Ku Klux Klan? You don’t know about David Duke?" the co-host said during the opening segment of the show after remarking upon Trump's feigned ignorance of the group and Duke during an interview with CNN on Sunday, two days after he explicitly disavowed the group in a news conference.
The "most stunning thing" about the latest development, said Scarborough, a southerner himself, is that the latest maneuver "isn’t buying him a single vote."
“I mean is he really so stupid that he thinks Southerners aren’t offended by the Ku Klux Klan and David Duke? Is he really so ignorant of Southern voters that he thinks this is the way to their heart — to go neutral, to play Switzerland when you’re talking about the Klan?" Scarborough asked. "And to say he doesn’t know enough information about the Klan to condemn them — exactly what does Donald Trump expect to learn in the next 24 hours about the Klan.”

Republicans are declaring war on Trump:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is already predicting Trump will lose in the general election, and is encouraging Republican Senators to abandon Trump and try to save themselves by running anti-Trump ads in the fall.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell reportedly told colleagues they will drop GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump “like a hot rock.”

McConnell reassured Republican members of the upper chamber they could run negative ads against Trump if he becomes the nominee and it threatens their re-election, reports The New York Times.

Additionally, McConnell told Republican senators during the members’ weekly lunch that the potential of Trump losing to Hillary Clinton is a given and it is best to describe to voters that a Republican Senate is a necessary check to a Clinton presidency.

Joe Scarborough might as well take Melissa Perry's position. Who even watches that channel anyway.

McConnell barely won his position. I dont see many great things coming from him. Frankly hes part of the problem.

Trump: I could "shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters"

What American has ever said about the KKK...

un-American TRUMP: "I don't know anything about David Duke. I don't know anything about...White Supremacy..."

un-American TRUMP: "I know nothing about David Duke. I know nothing about White Supremacists....I don't know what group you are talking about."

The Republican machinery's desperation is so palpable. Republicans are throwing everything, including the kitchen sink and the toilet bowl, at Trump in an effort to diminish him. I'm not a fan of Trump, but I don't like unfairness.

Trump's not even going to win the election. The only reason he's even running is to make the other shitty candidates look good.

So you passively support the KKK, out of fairness?

Are you also a Nazi sympathizer?
