This really is a mess and I don't recall a campaign like this in my lifetime. When I said that to an older friend today who has 20whatever years on me, she said the only thing she could relate it to was the rise of Hitler in that Germany was coming out of their WWI, those expenses and hardships and frustrations that Hitler tapped into. And now after the housing crash, after so many lost so much, this guy is tapping into that anger, those feelings.

It looks like he could seriously split the GOP in two. I don't know that we've ever seen this before. And I don't know if that's a benefit to Democrats. This whole thing could go str8 to hell at surprising speed.

GOP leaders: No place for bigotry in the Republican Party
    http://news.yahoo.com/ryan-gop-nominee-must-reject-bigotry-154916133--politics.html

"When I see something that runs counter to who we are as a party and a country I will speak up. So today I want to be very clear about something: If a person wants to be the nominee of the Republican Party there can be no evasion and no games. They must reject any group or cause that is built on bigotry," Ryan said

Trump clearly is an opportunist, but everyone knew that, including many Republicans, when he entered the race a few months back. Extremely successful business people who actually made their money from aggressive business transactions (as opposed to those people who got lucky in the tech/Internet/social media world) have the "opportunist" DNA. That's nothing new. What's revelatory to me is the manner in which several Republican powerbrokers are engaged in a deliberate, concerted effort to basically disenfranchise the voters who voted for Trump. That's simply wrong. I am not a fan of Trump, but I am a fan of fair play. Interestingly, some Republican heavyweights and party voters have stated that they would not vote for Trump if he were to become the Republican nominee. I say Baloney with a capital B. In the privacy of that voting booth, these same hypocritical folks will vote their party.

The people who are voting for him are kkk sympathizers. Why are you trying to legitimize them? They must be taken on and dealt with. The KKK is a violent hate group like ISIS. Are you permissive of ISIS, too?

You're simply wrong, and dangerously so.
