The liberal Huff Post linked below assumes that it impacts minorities, who happen to be able to make purchases and rent videos, even drive cars, but just can't get an ID.

Are the real groups being disenfranchised the core Democratic supporters consisting of the dead, the illegals, and the multiple voters?

Dem turnout and voter ID: The dirty little secret

The numbers tell a story, and you can draw the obvious conclusions. Because the mainstream media certainly won’t. Keep this statistic in mind the next time some progressive tries to claim voter fraud is not a serious problem.

    Political Wire quotes the HuffPo:

Huffington Post: “Eight out of the 16 states that have held primaries or caucuses so far have implemented new voter ID or other restrictive voting laws since 2010. Democratic turnout has dropped 37 percent overall in those eight states, but just 13 percent in the states that didn’t enact new voter restrictions. To put it another way, Democratic voter turnout was 285 percent worse in states with new voter ID laws.”

Fewer Democrats Are Voting This Year In (Surprise!) States With Strict New Voter Laws
But Republicans don't appear to be hurt.

What the rest of the world calls an anti-fraud measure, Democrats call racist.

It’s been over seven years since the Supreme Court, in a 6–3 decision that was written by liberal favorite John Paul Stevens, declared that voter-ID laws don’t constitute an undue burden on people attempting to vote. But that hasn’t stopped liberals from fighting in legislatures and courts against those laws and other efforts to promote voter integrity. The lawsuits are often brought by Marc Elias, who doubles as the attorney for Hillary Clinton’s campaign. And their efforts have paid off: Only about 18 states currently require a photo ID to vote.

Last month, the New York Times reported that billionaire liberal George Soros was largely bankrolling the multi-million-dollar effort. Democratic-party chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has accused Republicans of trying to bring back Jim Crow because “photo I.D. laws, we think, are very similar to a poll tax.”

Election observers in other countries find this kind of rhetoric preposterous. Almost all industrialized democracies — and most that are not — require voters to prove their identity before voting.

One hopeful sign, socal, is that the absence of any rational responses indicates that there are no rational responses to the photo ID requirement, so the only responses you'll get are more irrational ravings, like that supplied here. It's always fun to see lefties self-destruct when their "received truths" are refuted by reality, as they increasingly are. But then, 50+ years of mistaken social policy had to end sometime, no?

Yes, this one occasionally gets loose from his restraints and comes rushing to blow off his rage and anger.

    Thanks for your original post.

Why don't we see this on CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC? Seems if the public was properly informed, they'd demand fair elections.

    Above replies - you're welcome.

Regarding the angry and mentally unstable people - much more likely among those dependent on others or the Government, i.e. lefties. Common behavior seen on RJ:

    1) Remarks such as those from the idiot above smartmoney - always lashing out with incoherent comments

    2) Obsessive/compulsive posting - combination of disorder and desire to push certain threads down.

    3) Obsessive/compulsive extremely partisan from foreigners. Round the clock, obsessing on our politics.

Basically, a pound of mixed nuts!

Ironically, their blistering attacks and disinformation against Donald Trump only increases the chance for a President Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz could have his Fundamentalist Christian religion play a larger role in American life.....especially in regard to the social services these moonbats receive. Their anti-social personalities will be viewed as Satanic possession, and treated accordingly. Their hateful and anger laced replies are more appropriate to The Exorcist than a political forum.

That's what passes for liberal "thought."

I would say little of both, Liberal and Conservative.
