Well, the title sorta says it all. I was first served this in a restaurant about 30 years ago, and wonder why it's not more popular. It's still chilly in some northern US States, you might enjoy this in the evening in front of the fireplace with your hunny.

For simplicity, start with an individually prepackaged mix. Swiss Miss is a good US brand, there are others. Pour in the powder mix, then add milk, not water. Heat the mug(s) in the microwave. I do mine for 90 seconds, your machine may vary, and based on the number of mugs. You want it fairly hot, but not boiling.

Now comes the trick. Instead of using a spoon to stir, or resorting to some electric gizmo, use a metal whisk. With a slender round handle, that you can twirl between your palms right in the mug. Like this:

Cheap to buy at the supermarket, and you toss it in the dishwasher. You may have one already. Mixes the powder really well.

Next you add a shot, or 1-1/2, or a double (your call) of peppermint schnapps. "Dekuyper" is a common US brand. Whisk it again. You didn't add the schnapps earlier because you wanted the cocoa hot to dissolve the powder well in the mug. Serve and enjoy.

Optional: top it off with some whipped cream from a spray can. For a swizzle stick use a small candy cane. More appropriate during the holidays, but there's no rule that limits when.

Well, as usual I didn't start it. The obsession SB has to always attack me is rather sick. Maybe he can take some meds for it, or get some therapy. Or simply delete himself from a site where gay haters are not welcome.

Oh? Perhaps you should review your actions in this topic:

I did. And what I read was "Kolonel Kofusion". Another demeaning gratuitous insult upon me and my military rank. If that's your best defense against your rather demented obsession with me, then I have to conclude that you lose.
