Inappropriate or not?

You're at a party with a group of friends and you're introduced to gay who about 60 seconds after meeting the group.

He goes around points at everyone and says So...I'm going to guess you're a top, bottom, bottom and you're defiantly a top...

My other friends told them their actual preferred sexual position but I refused to answer.... I was thinking I'm not going to tell a random guy I've know for less than 2 minutes that.

Add to that I felt kind of weirded out because out of 5 guys I was the only one he got right... Even though I think one of my friends would have told him later on. icon_neutral.gif

Depends what the social norm is. I like to break social norms whenever possible. And i don't particularily mind anyone asking me anything about me

Miss Manners wouldn't have approved, that's for sure. I would have probably just laughed it off.

That's a sad story. I don't know why most gay guys like to define themselves (and others) by their sexual positions. Is that all there is to being gay?

I think it was inappropriate. It's something you can discuss with your close friends. But not to total strangers.

It can be a pretty risky way to break the ice, but if the setting is casual a little sexual banter never hurt anyone.
