Fucking BLEW on saturday night live.

jesus, have you ever heard of rehearsing?

the second song was alright sounding but that first one; GOD. I had to mute it, and that only gets done for the likes of Ashley Simpson and her Irish Jigging ass.

I was very disappointed with this band; and I've gotten into a lot of good music from shows like SNL, or seeing someone play on a show like Leno (Iron and Wine) or Conan O'brien.

    tsk tsk.

I find that almost all of the current "indie" bands suck at live performances.

I didn't see SNL. But I saw TV on the Radio a couple of years ago in support of their album Return to Cookie Mountain. They were stunning when you were a part of the energy in the room. I think they tend to experiment with their songs and change them night to night, which may make for a poorly packaged version of themselves on television.

Their recordings are impeccable and their live shows are enjoyable. Check out their first full length Desperate Youth, Blood thirsty babes. Sad to hear they didn't come across well... but then again, neither did Spoon and they are pretty much the best rock band working right now.

I like their song, "Wolf like me" that came out in late 2006.

To avoid disappointment with SNL, mute everything except 'Weekend Update".

(And since I've given up TV, I don't know if even that is good anymore.)

Being old as I am, Saturday Night Live used to make me about fall off my rocking chair, but, alas, those days are behind us.
