    I'd be more concerned that the guy was a thief and gonna try to steal rings or wristwatches. That would be the more likely scenario in the US, and so I wouldn't be comfortable with a guy touching me like that on a passing escalator.

    Good point bon_pan. I didn't see it that way at first but you're right. It also shows the homophobia that is out there as well. I really never cared for the prank stuff like this that you see on TV from time to time. It's silly and can be hurtful as well as mean-spirited. Clever idea but way off the mark. Why tease with someone's emotions?
