As Bernie Sanders stated, HRC is part of the political establishment. Politics makes strange bedfellows.

I can understand the rationale but it is still an error. HRC should have publicly gone neutral if they felt like they couldn't ignore a Republican who is active on our behalf. Eventually we're going to have to bring more Republicans over to our side but considering the recent general asshole-ism of the Republican Senators, now was not the time to do this.

That's right, forget the individual and focus on his group. Spoken like a true liberal, Democrat or otherwise. icon_rolleyes.gif

Human Rights group has never really been supportive of the LGBT community. They are more concerns of getting money.

That's right, forget the numerous times you MSG bashed HRC and focus on this one time you don't bash them because you opportunistically think not bashing them in the moment allows you to make what I suppose you thought was a point worth mention.

Spoken like a true conservative, conniver, conman or othernotsowise.

Whether or not it was a point worth mention and I think it could have been, for though normally I agree with a lot of what Dustin expresses--and I get his comment on political timing--I have no issues giving credit where due, I've reason to suspect your point fired from a place a honor, because you left out the honest part, didn't ya, which might have weakened your point. You forgot to mention all of this crap...

MGINSD said http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/3959370Consider these words carefully before you consider donating to HRC. To my mind, they're a bunch of PC crap that in no way represents the views of the majority of "the gay community."

MGINSD said http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4112695Oh really? Perhaps you could bring that as a motion to the HRC Bd. of Directors at its next Imperial Council Conclave. That way, we'll have an official pronouncement stating exactly who's gay, who isn't, and who can "represent the gay community." Sheesh! icon_rolleyes.gif

MGINSD saidhttp://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4164901/[/cite]how much is ongoing? - with your beloved Demos, if not their vest pocket fundraiser, HRC.

Because expressing that right then would mean the HRC's endorsement of a GOPer didn't mean much in your eyes anyway, ain't that right, certainly not enough for you to have made a point of it by your consistent poor appraisal of them.

So was your point to show that now you'd enjoy an HRC endorsement of a GOPer?

Or was your point to try and show Dustin off by supposedly "forget(ting) the individual" implying that a Democrat might only be capable of group think as if Republicans somehow all individually decide to back the one status quo.

Or were you trying to prove your lack of integrity by feigning a legitimacy (both in the absence of your typical HRC distain and in your "how dare you not let them praise one of ours" girlish scream) about a group you normally spurn except at such time that it conveniently suited you.

You are so full of shit, pool turd. So full of shit.

The focus of this article seems to be how wrong and fucked-up HRC is. I'm beginning to think they are. And we've supported them, given them money, maybe it's time to look elsewhere.

Each State has an Equality organization. And we already support Equality Florida. Maybe we'll shift more to them.

He's actually not that bad of a person. Don't condemn him just because he's a Republican. Sorry, he's pretty moderate and an overall nice person.
