That makes sense with so many Democrats switching to the Republican party to vote for Trump.

Left/right, they all hate ISIS. Why?

Because they suck at life, that's why. At some point, the problem is you.

The problem with Trump is simple. . .
    1) he is a racist, verbal evidence can't be denied.
    2) has little/no experience with working class people.
    3) blow hard, know-it-all attitude with no manners to anyone different than him (racial/belief/etc.)

I can go on and on, at the same time I wonder. . . To put his own words against him "where were these people born?", how about all presidential contenders show a complete resume, give their full work background, see who really has expierence being middle/lower class and actually part of the public, high class education doesn't count!

When Obama ran, he was seen as the Messiah to many and the Obamanation to many others. The same is happening with Trump... People are dumping their hopes or their fears on his candidacy. Unfortunately, for those of us who are truly moderate/independent, we largely see that none of the candidates seem like a good option really. I was hoping that maybe Kasich would prove to represent middle America but it appears that the media would rather entertain us with Trump coverage than educate us on other candidates and their stances. Will have to hold my nose and vote... again.

    It's quite simple. It's because he's a buffoon.

The fact is, Trump would not be in the position he's in if he hadn't starred in a reality TV show, in which he acted like an overbearing asshole. He's a product of America's celebrity worship culture, where the people most exalted in our society are actors and sports figures - in short, entertainers. And more than good government or a viable foreign policy, what America values above all else is relief from boredom.

I could say the same thing about Hillary Clinton, or George W. Bush. They reached their respective positions due to name recognition, nothing else. They got votes for the same reason people will buy a ticket to see the latest poorly made Hollywood remake or "reboot" - because the title is familiar. That's all.

I can see people agreeing with the rhetoric that Trump spews - he certainly knows how to appeal to his supporters - but I just can't understand how anyone can stand behind him as a man. Everything he's done in his whole spoiled rich boy life seems to be about his own personal vanity. Is that really who you want for your president?

I don't like trump because he is an egomaniac, a con man, narcissist and as far as I can tell completely unaware of all of those sad traits.

And so many Republicans leaving their own Party because of Trump. And that's a fact, not your imagination about Clinton.

A senior Republican US Senator, Lindsay Graham, called Trump "unhinged". And Bernie Sanders, though not a Republican, has termed Trump a "pathological liar". Pretty strong words to be using publicly in a Presidential campaign, by people in their position.

Fine for us here to throw derogatory terms around freely. But when guys like these, and others, say these things, I think we might pay attention.

Sanders forfeited the privilege of receiving any attention from me when he decided to honeymoon in Moscow. His calling Trump any name matters not a whit to me, and not because I support Kasich, not Trump. As to what position he occupies, I'll not go there, or to the People's Republic of Vermont.

And, I wonder which number more: GOPers "abandoning" Trump, or Demos flocking to him???

Being from NJ a lot do not like Trump because he says it like we think and are scared to say it out loud. Sorry but at least for now we know how he feels about things and people. He has said many things I was thinking but would have liked to say out loud. Can he e any worst than any other president?

Does anyone really think there will be a difference by whomever is elected? The circus show entertains America - the 'debates' talk about dick size and hand size, the 'commentators' talk about how the candidates dress and whether they smile or frown or have 'presidential' posture. And the obvious lack of actual policies (that are both reasonable and deliverable) shows how little concern there is for the current state of affairs - either in the USA or the world. Rant on the left, rant on the right, but both sides deliver the same outcome. What fools to believe we have a 2-party system. We have a 1-party system - we just don't know the party, and hence we will find it virtually impossible to change without a true revolution.

Well I don't like Hillary because she is a man hating radical feminist, overly controlling, she has no leadership skills, she has had everything handed to her on a silver platter, she is a Wall Street shill, she was a disastrous flop as Secretary of State. I could go on but it is pointless with some of you Hillary loving sycophants because you all will just distort and sugar coat everything about this opportunistic bimbo.

Probably because they see the US going down the pan if he`s elected.
Trump is the final proof of two things in American culture: the amateurization of politcs to anyone with money and a big mouth who can draw enough attention; and two, the final takeover of politics by showbusiness.
It`s quite a choice, Clinton or Trump.
