    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/03/21/how-republicans-helped-create-donald-trump-more-than-15-years-ago/
The Republican establishment began losing its party to Donald Trump on May 24, 2000, at 5:41 p.m., on the floor of the House of Representatives.

Urged on by their presidential standard-bearer, Texas Gov. George W. Bush, and by nearly all of the business lobbyists who represented the core of the party’s donor class, three-quarters of House Republicans voted to extend the status of permanent normal trade relations to China. They were more than enough, when added to a minority of Democrats, to secure passage of a bill that would sail through the Senate and be signed into law by President Bill Clinton...

...it would cause a series of economic and political earthquakes that has helped put the GOP in the difficult spot it is in today: with the most anti-trade Republican candidate in modern history, Trump, moving closer to clinching the party’s nomination...

The 2000 vote effectively unleashed a flood of outsourcing to China, which in turn exported trillions of dollars of cheap goods back to the United States. Over the next 10 years, economists have concluded, the expanded trade with China cost the United States at least 2 million jobs. It was the strongest force in an overall manufacturing decline that cost 5 million jobs. Those workers were typically men whose education stopped after high school, a group that has seen its wages fall by 15 percent after adjusting for inflation.

I think Trump started with Reagan. Once you accept that an actor can be president by mouthing some empty rhetoric that has no real connection to his actual policies--i.e. "morining in America"--it's a pretty short jump to a reality TV "star".

You are mostly fat, older, weak out of shape douchbags.icon_wink.gif
Additionally, (from having to deal with you repukes over the yrs on here), I find you to be financially challenged, with third rate educations at best. icon_rolleyes.gif

A third of DEMOCRATS supported the China bill that Bill Clinton signed.

With his time in office winding down, Bill Clinton threw the powers of the presidency behind passing the measure, which he considers a crowning foreign policy triumph:

Donald Trump and his families clothing lines are all made in CHINA.

Trump employs over 300 foreign guest workers at Mira Lago in Florida and used illegal workers for his Trump Tower project.

ad hominem (Latin for "to the man" or "to the person", short for argumentum ad hominem, is an attack on an argument made by attacking the character, motive, or other attribute of the person making the argument, rather than attacking the argument directly.

Per Bill Moyer's white paper broadcast on PBS, it was the Walton family (Walmart), after raping most of the Main Streets of the south, who then set about financing about some huge percentage of the industrialization of China (something like 70% as I recall), which cost most of those 2 million American jobs lost. Both the Republicans and the Democrats did this -- stupid Congress.

    As consistent as you are.
You are actually worse than the repuke trolls on here whom aren't even Gay. icon_eek.gif
You are exactly what I despise in a human. You're a hypocritical douchebag. And as I've put on my profile page:
You 'intentionally harm the Gay community! (Then cowardly hide behind their traitorous actions by saying they are doing it for the betterment of the country.)'

Despite my username and your beautiful physique, I would rather spit in your face than give a Gay repuke like you the time of day.
You bloody worthless piece of trash.
You are absolutely shameful for being a repuke. icon_exclaim.gif
As a matter of fact, you and the rest of the Gay repukes and trolls on this site should follow in lockstep with the only repuke whom did anything I applaud...Budd Dwyer. Here...

And all of this is tied to the OP - the vote in 2000 by the Republican congress to extend normal trade relations with China? Uh..... I missed the link(s).

Absolutely hilarious coming from an actual retard like yourself.
Once again, you and I dance this little dance every bloody time you go off your meds.
You go right back to that sullen, over-middle-aged man whom has lost all of his low paying & meager civil service jobs because of being a complete failure in life.
So just stick to pedaling your pudgy sad sack of flesh self, on your big wheel. And for fuck's sake, please get back on your meds.!!! icon_eek.gif

Come to think of it..YOU would be another perfect candidate for the Budd Dwyer method of dealing with mental illness.
    Here's a reminder for you:

Actally the article is incorrect. The Republicans created Trump in 2014 in the mid-term election. The elections saw sweeping gains by the Republican Party in the Senate, House, and in numerous gubernatorial, state, and local races. The Republicans gained control of the Senate for the first time since 2006, and increased their majority in the House. The Republicans also gained two seats in governors' races.

Yet given this mandate, they basically rolled over and did not follow through on numerous campaign promises. Hence, Trump is very popular. Establishment be damned.

No problem at all; I know the difference between a legal brief and a website post. Can you tell the difference between your various meds, or have you just tossed them all aside? It's Eastertime; maybe you could color them, like eggs, to keep them, if not get you, straight
