This is quite obvious. If you grow up and remain confined to areas of decay, despair, and disinvestment where there is nothing but crushing poverty, illness, and violent crime than that is the only way of life that is normal. It is the same situation in poor, remote, rural areas, a person growing up in the impoverished Appalachians of West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky will only know a life of struggle and despair because the established mentality is that all your ancestors lived on this rugged land and are a permanent part of this rugged land and that you are to be the exact same way. It is the same entrenched mentality in the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas and the four corners area of the Southwest. People who grow up in poverty will for the most part only know a life of poverty.

The whole problem is that it is much harder to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty due to the outsourcing of good paying jobs to corrupt, brutal, third world shitholes thanks to Wall Street. It seems that more Americans are falling into poverty than escaping it.

Well thats the problem with first world countries..u guys r used to comfort and preach hardwork..im an african and the economy of most countries isnt doing well(currencies against the dollar are getting out of hand..its expensive to consumer international products and services, some countires r finding ways of making the best of local goods)china and the rest of asia r the problem as they willing to take risky jobs for low wages and working conditions r bad.
