Well if the hapless Hillary ho wins the democratic nomination, than I am not going to have any viable choice but to vote for Donald Trump. The only other thing I can think of is just stay home and ignore this election entirely.

roadbikeRob, I know you are not a Hillary fan. She is not my first choice either on the Democratic side. As far as Trump is concerned, there are actually parts of his platform I agree with. But the thought of him actually being President Of The United States scares the hell out of me. He's too hot headed and bombastic. You need someone calmer and cooler to be the President and deal with the day to day stress that goes along with that. Not to mention dealing and negotiating with foreign leaders. Bonaparts, you do not live in the U.S., so if he is elected it really would not effect you directly.

Why you talking about viable options now? You've always been a Trump fan. You've never expressed yearnings in voting for another pervious Republican? Be honest, I'd respect you more.

FYI, I am supporting Bernie Sanders for President. Trump is my second choice if Bernie can't win the nomination. However, I would really much rather have Ohio Governor John Kasich as GOP front runner and Presidential candidate. I think that a Kasich vs. Sanders Presidential campaign would be the ultimate best for the U.S. But unfortunately most American voters seem to love celebrity show offs in the 2016 campaign which is the reason why both Donald and Hillary are leading in their respective political parties.

Yes! Donald Trump needs our support and now. Trump is the only self funded candidate who won't sell out America like Obama, Bush and Clinton have done. Trump will bring America back to our best times with FAIR trade deals....push out the illegals draining our system...and bring HIGH WAGE tech and manufacturing jobs back to America.

If Trump doesn't get to the 1,237 Republican delegates, then the Republican Establishment will choose a nominee, which might end being a real nightmare....especially considering Hillary is a corrupt but weak candidate.

I agree. You can't just vote for someone based on ONE particular issue. Although I appreciate his passion and balls on one issue, the man is a loose canon and would have us in WWlll within 6 months.

The scenario I see is, let's say he gets elected. Congress and the Senate will not want to work with him. They are likely to block most legislation he would try to put through, leaving him essentially powerless.

Do you know how hard it is to build skyscrapers in NYC? Between neighborhood groups, unions, contractors, politicians, bankers, etc....but Trump does it all the time. This is why he'd do what Obama has failed....to work with congress.

Critics said the same thing about Ronald Reagan, who went onto make historic agreements with Gorbachev...and made many deals with liberal democrat House leader, Tip O'Neil, where democrat Carter failed repeatedly. It's why the 1980's was America's most successful decade. Things worked.

I'll vote for Trump for one reason only; the wall between us and Mexico! They should play Pink Floyd's The Wall at the Republican Convention.

Well if it is so damned expensive to build new skyscrapers and to do business in New York City well than it is time to look at the cities of Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse. Bring your corporate headquarters and new skyscraper construction to these three beautiful upstate cities and greatly reduce your taxes and operating costs.icon_smile.gif

I think it will go to a contested convention, the GOP will nominate someone other than Trump and he will run as an independent, ensuring neither the GOP candidate nor Trump can win. At least, that's what I'm hoping for (though any scenario which involves the GOP and Trump losing is just fine).

Reagan talked over Congress to the American people on TV and the resulting feedback would make them do as he wished. Congress basically couldn't stand Reagan. I can see Trump doing the same thing. btw the Senate is part of Congress.

This is how he did it...

When [Reagan] first arrived in Washington DC, many critics assumed it would be impossible to achieve consensus, to get a deal. Not only was it possible he put together, through the force of his obvious electoral mandate, through the power of his ideas and words, and through his work ethic of meeting with members of Congress. Said he, “When I first proposed this…the Democratic leadership said a tax cut was out of the question.” But he was ultimately successful.

and Reagan was called "Ronald Ray-Guns". Way too hot-headed to have his finger on the nuke button. How's that for a blast from the past?

I can't stand to look at CRUZ let alone hear him speak. Hillary, is a crooked politician and the HOUSE OF CARDS was inspired by the duo while in office.

If you think the Clinton's are worthwhile.......remember this???

    DON'T ASK.....DON'T TELL!!!

Basically, he asked us all TO LIE about being queer and wanted all homosexuals to continue to feel shame and repression. Don't think that Ms. Clinton wasn't in on it....she's a southerner and they hate gay people. so....lol

#TRUMP He's a better liberal than all of them. Liberal in the way he knows how to DEAL a GREAT COMPROMISE!! THINK ABOUT IT

If the 2016 election ends up with Clinton vs. Cruz which I really fear, than I am not going to have any viable choice but to stay home and ignore this glorified charade.
