    Hey, sexy guys

It's been awhile since I been on here and looking for some advice, inspiration, and someone or a team to go with?

I'm planning on going to london n dublin in September to travel and do the south England tough mudder.
Has anyone in general done a overseas race or the tough mudder? Details on your travel routine: How many days, when you flew in before race and what some good days sites, ma n pa restraunts n good club and bars to go to at night. Are both places safe for gays Americans.

looking for a guide and travel buddies to have fun and enjoy !! Thanks in advance!!

Sounds fun. I've done two TMs, but both near where I live. They do vary in intensity, though, and a lot of people go through them with friends (I did) so it's generally not the sort of event where people are timing themselves and looking to demonstrate a great speed performance. The lines the accumulate at most of the big obstacles mean that you typically get a bunch of rests.

That said, they are really really fun events, and depending on the time of year, you can get some absolutely gorgeous guys doing it. I did one in early October in New Jersey, and a lot of military guys in amazing shape ran it, most without shirts, so wearing just their silky shorts.

Don't count on using your sneakers after the run. You'll likely want to throw them away as they get so muddy and disgusting.

London and Dublin are very friendly towards gay people. TM is not a very gay event, but it seems very tolerant so I would not expect any hostility. I suggest figuring out other guys who'll be ther and can met up at or after the race, though, maybe through the TM website or this site. I met some people at my TMs, but it's an activity a lot of people do in groups, so less a place where individuals meet spontaneously. If there was a gay group doing the TM together, maybe from one of the London of Dublin gay sports groups, that would be an ideal way for you to get to meet gay guys when you're over there.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

You don't have mud where you live? That's a damn shame.
