mindgarden saidSo what? The Reagan Doctrine has been long established. Lies are better than the truth. They're easier, and people like them. There is no down-side to politicians lying.
Finding out the truth is hard, it's boring, and it's oh so faggy. Dontcha just wanna punch out those wimpy fuckers?
Well, besides that I was just goofing on dorkbeach's various lie-titled threading, I find a courage to truth, a cowardice in lying.
To me, the real and lasting Reagan Doctrine was that during his administration (and since) no longer seemed to matter to the GOP--as if ever did but now the practice was institutionalized--that what you say matches what you do. In fact they seemed to prefer when the two conflicted. How better to break from reality and install your own brand of bullshit.
His journey into dementia as a sitting president dragged the country into delusion. This is when the GOP started bashing hard the American people in the face while insisting that...
...and falsely accusing that their sibling has lost control when their fat face gets punched back.
It is more appropriately titled the Doctrine of Republican Assholism.
