Don't forget, the fool Hillary Clinton was part of the debacle. All she did was travel. During her tenure, nothing but a series of disasters. The many examples of incompetence are backed up by all Defense Secretaries who who served under Obama, Gates, Panetta, and Hagel.

So who is the bigger fool, Obama or Clinton? Tough choice.

    ----------------------
Sitting down with Fox News' Brett Baier, former defense secretary Robert Gates laughed when he recalled how his people handled the clueless White House national security team during the crisis in Libya.
    .....
Absolutely amazing. We have a $700 billion military and Obama would rather listen to the 25 cent advice coming from Samantha Power.

The result of this ignorance is plain to see around the globe. Everybody is taking advantage of us and we are flailing about against our enemies with no real strategy to defeat them. Since Obama is even more clueless than his staff, nobody who knows much of anything at all about military policy has any input.

$700 billion PER YEAR (for decades, in constant dollars, more or less)

If Gates thought he was so impotent in the Obama Administration, why did he remain? Why is Gates not responsible for some of this, assuming it's what he claims it was?

Typical "Kiss & Tell" recollections by a former Cabinet Officer. Every Administration has them, looking to make money from future book deals and appearances like this. Everyone else was an incompetent idiot but them.

And BTW, the linked site is rabid Right Wing. Here's the kind of "news" source socalfitness is trying to foist onto this gay site:

"If Bakers Can be Forced to Service Faux Weddings, so Can Churches"

After over 2 years. Sure took him a while to discover his mistake. Duh. Or perhaps Obama his own mistake, in keeping him on from the Bush Administration. Gates then when on to lead the Boy Scouts. There has to be some irony there after directing the most powerful uniformed force on Earth. He went from a hand salute to a 3-fingered salute. Maybe what he should have been doing all along. icon_razz.gif

So do you have a similar excuse for the other two former Defense Secretaries? Does your mental state preclude you from realizing how clueless Obama is? Does it make it hard for you to justify in your own mind how you support that idiot?

    #KolonelKlueless

Not at all surprising though. Kolonel Deco doesn't even have a basic understanding of how primary voting is done in his "alleged" home state of Florida!

Well, if you actually lived here you would have known this. And told us about your own primary voting. So what's the voting been like in New York, or wherever you do really live?

Oh come now Kolonel, I've written time and time again here that I'm registered as an Independent. No primary voting for me.

In Florida you could still vote in the primary. That's a minor issue. Busted again.

Don't let the facts get in the way of another one of your whopper of a lies Kolonel Klueless:

Florida is a closed primary state. If you wish to vote in a partisan primary election, you must be a registered voter in the party for which the primary is being held.

    Kolonel Deco,

I realized that there is some unfinished business in this topic.

In your zeal to attempt to provide "proof" that I do not live in Florida, you posted a major faux pas. So major that it backfired on you big time.

So, please explain how a supposed "long time Florida resident" who is "politically connected in Wilton Manors" and has "rubbed elbows with the political movers and shakers" of the area could NOT know that Florida is not an open primary state.

Thank you for your extremely tardy response.

    Quite a lot there.

I have that idiot blocked, only see him in quotes. I had already answered him. But he keeps making a big issue out of a non-issue. Typical pattern for him: if he thinks he's making points with something, no matter how fake, he won't let go of it.

But hey, if you wanna ally yourself with a guy who thinks making 3rd-grade jokes about my military career makes himself clever, who's known mostly on this site for the false political propaganda he spams here, then you go for it. The adage of being known by the company you keep is alive & well in the 21st Century. icon_biggrin.gif

Speaking of "unfinished business", you still haven't explained how you - an alleged professional pilot - were so clueless about the in-flight engine servicing capability on the Boeing 314 Clipper. Moreover, you compounded your ignorance by mocking A_D's correct observation of this design characteristic.

You certainly did NOT explain how someone as "politically well connected" as yourself didn't know that Florida is not an open primary state.

But that was your plan all along... hope that after a few weeks it would just die out and then you could lie that you had answered the question of how you made such an elementary mistake and exhibited a total lack of knowledge of your alleged "home" state of Florida's voting rules.

I still find it incredible that someone as immature, thin-skinned and just plain ignorant as yourself managed to be accepted into the U.S. military, let alone rose to the rank of Kolonel.

I don't know about the Florida situation but it does surprise me that someone who was in the military and should understand the seriousness in handling classified material so easily dismisses what is already known about the Hillary debacle. Or how easily dismisses advice from Secretaries of Defense and top Generals in favor of political know-nothing cronies.

There are plenty of people - probably far more qualified than you - who are "easily dismissing" the "Hillary indictment" narrative:

Why Hillary Clinton is unlikely to be indicted over her private email server
“There are plenty of unattractive facts but not a lot of clear evidence of criminality, and we tend to forget the distinction,” American University law professor Stephen Vladeck, an expert on prosecutions involving classified information, told me. “This is really just a political firestorm, not a criminal case.”

    More here on clueless...

Dr. Sebastian L.v. Gorka is an American expert on counterinsurgency and counterterrorism and teaches irregular warfare.

“The Administration persists in living in an Alice in Wonderland fantasy,” said Gorka, comparing President Obama and Kerry to Saddam Hussein’s spokesman, Baghdad Bob, who infamously gave press conferences insisting that American forces were being destroyed by the Iraqi army, even as U.S. troops were rolling through Baghdad.
