The sweat and tears of twinky boys in heat.

... Use your imagination on the method.

Also random insects swallowed in the course of bicycling. Some of them are really sweet... Some of them give you a rash.... Damn, it must be doing something.

I've tried a lot of things and I have to say, it's all basically useless in my opinion--except whey and casein protein.

Creatine is expensive and only adds water weight, BCAAs are important but can be found in nutrition if you're eating correctly, pre-workouts are expensive and you can be just about as effective with a cup of strong coffee, etc.

    What have you used?

Probably not what the OP intended, but I enjoy nootropics. Isolated amino acids like L tyrosine and Acetyl L Carnitine produce a powerful sense of well being, alertness and clarity. The Carnitine is also useful for tapping bodyfat for energy. I also like Prolab Advanced Caffeine, which has a more subtle effect than just caffeine alone; minus jitters.

Creatine monohydrate is just about the cheapest supplement you can get, not sure what brand or kind you were getting. There is also a large body of science that says doesn't "only add water weight".

Show me the science. Because the studies I have read clearly state that the mass one gains during a creatine cycle is only the water it stores in your muscle cells.

Does it have other benefits outside of the water-retaining? Yes, it provides extra energy and strength for the workout, but that same effect can be acquired by either more effective or less expensive means.

Creatine facilitates the movement of fluids through he cell walls, I believe. So yes, it pumps the cells with water but it is also moving whatever the cell is needing in with the water and expelling waste. So the cells don't put out a 911 call saying they are tired as early. I see that as good in every way.

Beyond that, I do a protein shake and at home, a multivitamin and some extra B6 and B12 and D3 plus Sodium Chloride for cramps.

I find it's hard to get adequate amounts of vitamins D3, B6, B12 without supps. Those are all super important vitamins to get the right amount everyday.

Other than that, i just consume whey protein and gelatin. I would do some Oxandrolone if i could find a source i trusted but i can't so i won't.

Ha, just reading now someone else wrote the same vitamins as me!
