Cleaning out with Enema AND Water douche...safe?

So I'm going to have sex with this guy I've met in a couple days. When I first started anal, I would use an enema and wait about 3-4 hours before intercourse. I then switched to a water bulb type thing where I can pump water into my ass to clean. It takes around 30 minutes to fully clean and it's reusable, so I've been doing that. However, I've realized that it has been taking increasingly longer to fully clean myself with this, what should I call it, water douche. After multiple cleanings with this thing, I still find that my ass still smells a bit (ew) which makes me really self conscious when a top will finger me or fuck me bare. This is why I've decided to go back with the enema for a deeper clean.

My questions is: will using an enema AND a water douche thing be safe? Will it mess any thing up? (chemical composition, nerves, etc)

    Thanks in advance!

PLEASE tell me you're not going to let this guy you just met fuck you bare.

As a top myself, let me tell you this: While all tops definitely want a clean bottom, quality tops appreciate the effort to clean but also recognize that sometimes, even with the greatest of efforts, a little shit happens. If a top can't handle that, then he shouldn't be topping.

Do not let this guy fuck you without a condom!!

I like the Cleanstream I got from Amazon. Easy to install in the shower, quick and effective. Also works great to wash the dog.

    Don't worry! I didn't "just" meet him.
We both got tested before going bare

Yeah, sounds like douching isn't the only thing you need to do some research on.

No, mixing a prepared enema with water has no harmful effect. Except spending too much money. You can make a serviceable "shower shot" from a 1/2" PVC threaded pipe nipple and a threaded cap for about a dollar. Drill holes in the cap to suit your personal flow rate and use sand paper to smooth out any sharp edges. It will screw into any standard shower hose.

You may be getting into the gray area between a quick rectum-rinse douche and a complete "high colonic" flush. Hint: there is no gray area... It's a brown area. If you get water up into the colon, it's just going to make a mess unless you go all the way.

"Getting tested" is not enough. Unless you are truly a monogamous couple. There is a 90-day blackout period for the inexpensive (commonly "free") tests. And do look into PrEP if this is going to be an on-going thing.

    1) well known fact just getting tested gives you the viral state a few months ago. It depends on the sensitivity of the test. you should consider a series of hiv tests. Go for quality test methods.
    2) Your life depends how well do you trust each other. not.

    3) likely enema and water douching is safe?
-keep your cleansing efforts to the last few inches of the colon.
-The Amazon Cleanstream likely not compatible with the straight room mates.
-a factor you dont see mentioned a lot, someone here thought of it, the lower last 8" seldom contains any solid wast but self lubricates. After douching you might consider adding some lube to immediately replace what you washed away.
-the human digestive system is slow. So be careful what you shove in your face. It takes like approx 40hrs to pass your legacy of a night out. Generally human digestion is slower than expected:

    whatever:
If major preparation gives you confidence its a must do. Anal or vaginal sex; you are sharing your body with someone. Never forget how the wheel turns and where you came from. Otherwise keep a towel handy.
