Where's John when you need him for an inappropriate racial comment?

I hope the reason Rihanna missed the Grammy's was not because she is the victim.

It has now been confirmed that it was Rihanna. Other outlets say Rihanna is NO LONGER assisting investigators in their criminal case against Chris Brown. Police claim that, on the scene of the incident, Rihanna identified Chris Brown as the man who assaulted her. And she suffered visiable injuries to her arm and face. Chris turned himself in lastnight and was released on $50,000 bail. He is facing serious charges.

It was Rihanna and Chris Brown was arrested and posted bail. Even if it was not you just don't put your hands on your partner for any reason man or woman. It will automatically go to the DA. That is the California law. What a jerk man. Race has nothing to do with. Domestic abuse in all social-economic levels it knows no racial boundaries. The are high numbers of domestic abuse in the gay community as well.

A good friend of mine partner used to beat the crap out of him just for sport.
I would never tolerate that kind of boorish behavior. I broke up with a boy-friend because poke me with his pushed in my chest during an argument. I was done. He tried to apologize but I was not having it. I told he did it again that one us will get hurt. He thought that since he was bigger that I was a more muscular that I would not fight him. I would be that not what I signed on for.

He’s a tool for doing what he did.

So sad. Rihi was missed icon_sad.gif

She could have gone a long way to cure the gags after seeing a baby belly bouncing across stage. Yuck.

Wow! That is just all kinds of wrong...and very sad. I thought Chris Brown was one of the good guys in the music biz, and anyone who would lay a hand on Rihanna is going to pay a very big price I'm sure.

She does not have to assist them it is out of her hands. The matter is automatically turned over to DA for prosecution (sp) I'm sure the officers on the scene took photos. This California law was enacted after the Nicole Brown Simpson & Ron Goldman murders.
During the trial that it was proven that Nicole Brown was a victim of domestic abuse and the authorities were called out several times and they did nothing and she also would not press charges. Now if domestic abuse is reported and if the authorities see physical signs of abuse they will arrest the aggressor on scene no matter who the aggressor is male or female.
The authorities can move forward with out her help if they have the evidence.

If she's not cooperating then that's pretty sad, and I would just loose a lot respect for.

I hear she started it...First she hit him with her "Umbrella", then told him to "Shut Up & Drive", and then tried to check him into "Rehab" just because he nicely asked her to please "Don't Stop The Music". icon_lol.gif

I'm amaze at how anyone can find humor in this. WOW! Domestic abuse is nothing to take lightly or joke about. Chances are you know someone who has or is a victim. WOW!

Oh lighten up....apparently the whole thing has been blown WAY out of proportion...the only thing busted was him "Breakin Dishes" cuz he was complaining that she was smothering him and he couldn't get "No Air"

Domestic abuse is never ok! I would feel the same way if she battered him.

Rihanna's injuries were severe -- two "huge contusions" which swelled up on both sides of her forehead. She also suffered "a bloody lip and nose." was taken to the hospital shortly after the attack.

And that was a pretty good, she must have been breaking dishes too. (not to say domestic violence is something to joke about, but it was comical relief)

i love Rihanna and was shocked to hear this. Just goes to show that now matter who you are, you can't escape the law.

kind of sad to hear about a survey by the Boston Commission of Public Health surveyed teens from 12-17 years old and nearly half said it was Rihanna's fault.

If you ask me, I believe that the media should get over it (and they never will) and leave Chris Brown alone. I mean he said he was sorry. What more do they want? Making an example out of him isn't going to make things better. It's not the first time a woman's been beaten up by her man. I know it's not right for anyone to get abused, but it happens all the time. It's nothing new.

LOL. Chris Brown should not be "left alone". He's a fucking retard. Just because you say you're sorry to try & save your career, doesn't make it alright. Making an example out of his is EXACTLY what should be done. You're a celebrity, and people talk about you. If you do stupid shit, people aren't gonna let it go. It's the downside to making millions of dollars and driving a new lamborghini every month.

When Rihanna started advocating that domestic abuse line, it saved a lot of lives. Woman/men who were in abusive relationships actually started reaching out for some support.

You say "it happens all the time", and it definitely does. The benefit of the public making an example out of the situation, is that hopefully it will be tolerated less and less by everyday people.

Why the fuck did you bump this thread though? How did you even find it?

Regardless of whether or not the public makes an example out of him, abusive relationships are still going to be here. It's never going to go away, and for the record, I never said that getting abused was all right (SHIT, WE ALL KNOW THAT!!!!!). All I was saying was that the man probably all ready has enough on his plate and needs some extra space in life,so that he can move on with his life. How would you feel if you were in his situation and the media pursued in making an example out of you. You wouldn't like that would you? I thought not. MOTHERFUCKER, NOBODY'S PERFECT, SO GET OFF YOUR HIGH-HORSE.

And besides, it shouldn't take a celebrity to get out of an abusive relationship. If you're an adult, you should have you own mind and enough sense that the relationship isn't good for you. It's never healthy to be weak-minded,and violence should never be tolerated.

And before you say well what if people need help to get out of that relationship and aren't strong enough to get out of that relationship themselves. BITCH, LOOK AROUND YOU! There's tons of people out there who can help you.

Besides, I used to be in an abusive relationship myself, and I was the victim. If I can do it, then so can everybody else if they really want to. It's all will power, Baby! So suck on that.

NEXT TIME, THINK BEFORE YOUR HANDS HIT THE KEYS ASSHOLE, AND MAYBE YOU'LL GET WHAT THE LAST PERSON WAS REALLY SAYING!

LOL at saying people should get over it and move on... while simultaneously reviving a 2-and-a-half year old thread. Hilariously ironic!
