woodfordr saidIs it seen as also a legitimate app to make friends and network since you can have a full profile or is it just a glamorized hookup site? I've made platonic friends there. I've also met some hookups /fbuddies there. I also met my boyfriend on there. But maybe I'm being naive?
If you met your boyfriend on there, why do you ask? Just curious....is he logging on and saying just chatting to people?
Me personally, I got rid of scruff...but not necessarily for the hookup reason. To me, scruff was feeling too much of a site for white guys to WOOF at each other and me. And the whole "WOOF" thing became so annoying (guys would actually use it as a pickup line) that I deleted it months ago and never looked back. Lots of older/partnered types. No shade, but not my thing.
You know what's funny...jack'd seems to be where the younger black/multiracial crowd hangs, Grindr is all the fray boy white guys, and scruff is like the bear bar. Crazy how gays segregate themselves voluntarily even virtually lol. I got of fun scruff because I didn't seem to be what "they" were looking for.
