What type of homosexual are you? The different types described in a book from the 1960's.

UK's Home Office commissioned a report by sociologist Richard Hauser, published as The Homosexual Society in the 60's.

I find the types listed to be on point and still relevant today.

To the OP. It really is too bad you feel that type of categorized, labelling is relevant in today's society. Of course, you are an 18 yr old avatar.
You don't need to believe everything you read.

This is hilarious. I wonder if they did the same for straight men also. Hmmm.

Seriously, what the hell is a cottage type homosexual? Is there like a Chalet type one? a Cabana class also? Is there a loft or lodge one? I'm just wondering.

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Cottage

A public restroom, so named because it looks like a little cottage in a park. Term used by cruising queens.

Sebastian met this totally gross old queen down the cottage and they had a good wank together.

He loved to go cottaging - you never know who you'll meet of an evening.

The cottage was heaving by midnight and the floor was swimming in spunk.

This is pretty funny. Interesting, though, that there's a separate category for "The Mentally Sick Homosexual," which hints at the subsequent delisting of homosexuality as a mental illness by the APA.
Me? I'm somewhere among "The War Queer," the war in question being the Mexican-American War (why didn't we get Baja, dammit!), "The Ship's Queer," from my Navy days, and "The Pub/Club Type," depending on who's got the cheaper drinks. Oh yeah, throw in a bit of "The Rebel," too, just for kicks.

For an elitist homosexual, you sure have some dingy walls. icon_rolleyes.gif

One4u2c saidWow that list is a pretty sad representation of gay men. I have to say though that it is a pretty accurate list, but a bit dated, as new types of gay men have evolved.

For instance I don't see my type which is "The Elitist Homosexual".

I realize you're not very bright, but calling yourself an "elitist" is not exactly a flattering label. It means: snobbish, supercilious; arrogant, haughty, disdainful, condescending; pretentious, affected.
