Microaggressions & The Rise of HYPERSENSITIVE Victimhood Culture

  • Apr 19, 2016 5:18 PM GMT

found another video on youtube i thought was good. its a bit long but a nut shell micro aggressions equates to overly sensitive, easily offended people who identify as victims. and due to their victimhood state they feel entitled to do anything they can to punish or eliminate who ever doesnt agree with them.

    safe space = segregation

    trigger warning = censorship

    privilege = moral demerit

the vid covers a lot. sexuality, race, politics in general. seems like with the election coming up that everything these days is more heated then ever!

u bet. thing is, no one is allowed to have an opinion any more. its ridiculous. when did this happen? the art of debate has always left people at odds when one group can't agree with another. but to silence the opposition and punish them for disagreeing? that's so uncool.

i never really cared for elton john, but what he did with dolce and gabana really annoyed me. it was so over the top.

There really are a lot of jaw dropping videos on youtube that really scare me. After watching this video the one I'm posting below appeared as something else to watch. I never heard of Dinesh D'Souza before but check out this video as he puts some bleeding heart leftist liberal in his place:

That Amherst vid calling out a supposed hypocrisy is a crock of shit.

Or is a fire drill also a hypocrisy because at the time there is no fire?

If a system is in place, then why would the kid give up his spot when that emptied spot would only be filled with another one of "him", not one of "them". So his best bet to change a system he sees faulty is to not partake in an exercise of futility as insisted upon by the stage idiot, but to further his own education as best he can and find position in the world to effect the change he sees required.

That D'Souza d'douchebag hasn't destroyed anything but his own credibility by relying on debate antics instead of substance and that vid doesn't prove a fucking thing but to show that the guy on the stage had the last word, because, well, he was the guy on stage. Intelligence-wise--that kid in the audience, though he may have stumbled only very slightly, being a kid--is way smarter than that buffoon on stage and way more correct.

You'd have to be a complete moron to believe d'douchebag won that debate. But oh, did I just microaggress?

Totally agree with this. Guess you do make sense sometimes icon_biggrin.gif

I find the kid totally patronizing and annoying in his long-windedness, but his point is valid. D'souza has also been convicted of felonies relating to campaign contributions. And as is also the case with some RJers it's always those who embrace selfisheness and the dark side of human nature who are always full of accusations against those who try to be better. A coping mechanism for guilt.

Oh, big deal. So he was convicted of straw donorship years ago. He already served his time and paid his fines. That's got to be one of the pettiest of crimes a person can commit.

Do you see how ridiculous you are? You're basically shooting down this man's message because of his past conviction record. How does that have any relevance to the valuable point he made in the video? As a white male with liberal views what are you doing to help minorities? What are you sacrificing on your behalf to make life better for those who weren't born with your white privilege? Let me guess..not a damn thing.

You noticed that too? And isn't it interesting that Dinesh D'Souza is of Indian ancestry? Meanwhile the white liberals in the room who were all up in arms over what Dinesh had to say was really very telling. How many of those whites are willing to hand down their wealth to minorities who struggle in the name of equality? icon_lol.gif

Fascist liberals reliably doing their best to discredit anyone who doesn't agree with them via ad hominem attacks, name calling and total disregard for logic, truth and history. The pattern is evident.

I think both sides do this a lot. Its equally annoying. Both sides play the victim card and seek to censor/minimize the other side. Neither party wants to hear opposing solutions to problems, nor do they want to acknowledge the merits of other views. It's all about demonizing each other in front of the electorate knowing that the average american citizen will only tune into soundbites rather than take a few minutes to research issues.

That's true. They're just like two different sides on the same coin.
Though when it comes to private liberal college and universities in North America and western europe, the censorship from the lefties are rampant. There is student right now at USC who face disciplinary action from some kinda student government, basically for having conservative views. He wrote about things at college and safe space. Needless to say the liberals don't like that.
And some student who also worked at creative writicng centre at college (i think it's Pomona college, or some small but great liberal college in California) had to quit his job because of harassment from his coworker and superior.
Well what do you expect? Those kind of liberal colleges are full of studies and theories like "three pilars of white supremacy", or the evilness of "cisheteropatricarchy"
