Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 13 percentage points nationally, according to a CNN/ORC poll released Wednesday.

As both candidates look ahead to a November showdown, Clinton has a 54% to 41% advantage over Trump in a hypothetical matchup — her largest lead over Trump since July, according to the poll.

Voters trust Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, more than Trump, the Republicans' presumptive nominee, on almost every issue surveyed in the poll, including terrorism and immigration.

Poll Shows Trump Still Losing Big to Clinton or Sanders

Donald Trump’s runaway wins in recent Republican primary contests haven’t helped his standing with the broader electorate, a new poll finds.

They found Trump ahead if voters weren’t given the option of staying home, which of course is what many will do in November. If you’re going to model an election where no one stays home, you might as well model one where, say, every woman in America stays home. Neither one’s going to happen.

Trump probably got a bounce thanks to his emergence as the presumptive nominee. The same thing happened to Romney in head-to-head polling against Obama in 2012 - and we all know how that ended.

Everyone is tired of the same b.s. political system and the same players and she's been in the game for 30 years. Time to shake things up!

The GOP is certainly being shaken up. What will emerge from the post-November rubble is anyone's guess - perhaps a Republican party on its last legs.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rasmussen_Reports
...After the 2010 midterm elections, Silver concluded that Rasmussen's polls were the least accurate of the major pollsters in 2010, having an average error of 5.8 points and a pro-Republican bias of 3.9 points according to Silver's model.[64] He singled out as an example the Hawaii Senate race, in which Rasmussen, in a poll completed three weeks before the election, showed incumbent Daniel Inouye only 13 points ahead, whereas in actuality he won by a 53% margin[79] – a difference of 40 points from Rasmussen's poll, or "the largest error ever recorded in a general election in FiveThirtyEight’s database, which includes all polls conducted since 1998.".

...Time magazine has described Rasmussen Reports as a "conservative-leaning polling group."[83] The Washington Post called Rasmussen a "polarizing pollster."[84] John Zogby said that Scott Rasmussen has a "conservative constituency."[85] The Center for Public Integrity listed "Scott Rasmussen Inc" as a paid consultant for the 2004 George W. Bush campaign.[86] The Washington Post reported that the 2004 Bush re-election campaign had used a feature on the Rasmussen Reports website that allowed customers to program their own polls...

Congrats to Republicans for nominating the most unpopular candidate in modern history! Good luck getting Trump elected.

With Trump losing so badly in the polls, how long before Republicans start making up their own polls, like they did to show that Romney would win?

...The Democratic nominee for president has a 70 percent chance to win in November.

That’s according to an aggregator of betting markets, PredictWise, as of midday today....

Recently, the rise of Mr. Trump has actually decreased the PredictWise probabilities for a Democratic victory, to 70 percent today from 76 percent last week. “The markets view Trump as a much more viable general election candidate than Cruz,” Mr. Rothschild said.

Nevertheless, the Democrats’ chances are “still really high for this time in the cycle,” he said. (The markets are in line with polling that shows Mrs. Clinton with an edge against Mr. Trump.)

The Senate races in swing states look correspondingly promising for Democrats, with their chances for overall control of the Senate now being listed at 62 percent, from 57 percent a few days ago...

Probably about like her husband did, which honestly even with his many scandals was far better than the last two occupants of the Oval Office, mainly because he was too busy messing around with the interns in the Oval Office to start a major war, impose a bunch of job killing regulations, or completely fuck up the nation's healthcare system. icon_lol.gif

Trump's supporters need to get their heads out of their asses and face the PRESENT reality, which is that Trump is losing to Clinton on every issue except the economy and in many demographics. Does that mean that it would be impossible for him to beat Clinton? NO. What Trump and his supporters/surrogates must do is to convince the American voters that he has much more to offer beyond mere bluster. Then, perhaps, he might be able to change the conversation.

Have you heard Trump when asked about HOW he'd implement any of his policies, from building a wall to keeping jobs in America.

His answer always the same. "Everything is a disaster! Trust me, I'm going to do it!

    But how?

    Trump broken record.

Consider the target demographic (i.e. uncritical and not too bright).
