If you don't dislike Islam intensely, there's something wrong with you

Islam is a horrible, corrupt, barbaric ideology. Hating Islam is not racist; Islam is not a race.

Banning all Muslims from the USA may be distasteful to the sensibilities of some, but the impulse is not "racist." ISLAM IS NOT A RACE.

Donald Trump is not a racist. ISLAM IS NOT A RACE.

Islam is a religious faith that has been hijacked by vicious, barbaric extremists.

The poster raised valid points, but his inductive reasoning is deductively invalid especially when is trying to selectively portray the “others” as barbaric. That being said, All religions have caused great loss of life, why single out Islam for this patronizing treatment? What about pearl harbor ? What about the U. S dropping the atomic bombs on Japan?

How many people have been killed by Christians since biblical times?

How many Native Indians did the European Christian invaders kill? One of the culprits wrote: “So many Indians died that they could not be counted, ... Thus, “the Caribbean's millions of native people [were] thereby effectively liquidated”

As far as I can tell you come off as a naive close-minded bigot who supports the banning of a WHOLE group of people because of a misguided few. Everyone has their faults.

Granted there are an awful lot of violent extremists from Islamic ruled countries, who want to kill us, for instance because we are gay.

So were "Christians" in our history, whether it was the crusade, inquisition, or 'civilizing' heathens. But that is a side track.

Just like all sects of Christianity are all alike, not all Islam is the same.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Islamic_schools_and_branches#Islamic_denominationsIn the beginning Islam was divided into three major sects. These political divisions are well known as Sunni, Shi'a and Kharijites. Each sect developed several distinct jurisprudence system reflecting their own understanding of the Islamic law during the course of the History of Islam. For instance, Sunnis are separated into five sub-sects, namely, Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbalites and Ẓāhirī. Shi'a, on the other hand, was first developed Kaysanites and in turn divided into three major sects known as Fivers, Seveners and Twelvers. Qarmatians, Ismailis, Fatimids, Assassins of Alamut and Druses were all emerged from the Seveners.[2] Isma'ilism later split into Nizari Ismaili and Musta’li Ismaili, and then Mustaali was divided into Hafizi and Taiyabi Ismailis.[3] Moreover, Imami-Shi'a later brought into existence Ja'fari jurisprudence. Akhbarism, Usulism, Shaykism, Alawites[4] and Alevism[5] were all developed from Ithna'asharis.[6] Similarly, Khawarij was initially divided into five major branches as Sufris, Azariqa, Najdat, Adjarites and Ibadis. Among these numerous sects, only Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali, Imamiyyah-Ja'fari-Usuli, Nizārī Ismā'īlī, Alevi,[7] Zaydi, Ibadi, Zahiri, Alawite,[8] Druze and Taiyabi communities have survived. In addition, some new schools of thought and movements like Quranist Muslims, Ahmadi Muslims and African American Muslims were later emerged independently.[9]

It's not the religion itself that's problematic, but the people who practice it. I'm a practicing Christian (Catholic), but I also recognize that the Catholic religion has had a pretty shameful past because of its leaders and followers.

I don't support "banning all Muslims." I just don't think it would be "racist" to do so.

Crying "racist" is the knee-jerk response of the white Liberal.

I've said it before and I'll repeat it until the day I die - compare and contrast the teachings and what was written about the actions of Jesus and Mohammed.

Jesus never murdered anyone or had anyone murdered by his directives. You can't say that about Mohammed.

Jesus never had sex with a nine year old girl. You can't say that about
    Mohammed.

Islam and its false prophet is rotten at its very core.

Yes, and that is mainstream Islam now. Saudi Arabia is the worst regime on Earth, yet garners respect from the world community.

I will personally oversee the tarring and feathering of any president or diplomat who EVER "apologizes" for what we did in Japan. We told those fuckers to stop waging war, they didn't listen. Same with Germany. They wouldn't stop, we bombed the fuck out of them.

    No apologies are forthcoming.

    because of a misguided few

It's not a misguided few. There's more than a few people in Saudi Arabia not allowing women to drive.

Poll after poll shows support for Shariah law, anywhere between 10 and 90 percent depending on the country. Even if you want to take the lowest number, that would be 150,000,000 people supporting Shariah law, that's more than a few. And they don't want Shariah Law just for themselves and all the christians and jews in their countries can continue doing whatever, they want Shariah for all.

So saying it's a few is grossly mis-representing what is happening. If it was just a few people, it wouldn't be an issue. If it was just a few people, they wouldn't have money and resources and be all across 40 or 50 different nations. I don't understand this idea that it's just a few?

A very pro terror muslim cleric has 14 million plus twitter followers. @MohamadAlarefe

Maybe you could go talk about how peaceful Islam is with him while he talks about the blood of infidels running in the streets and his 14.9 million "few" twitter followers agree with you about how peaceful they are.

Now if you'll excuse me, i need a shower after having agreed with JackNNJ about something. icon_razz.gif

Err and, Trump is totally racist.

I think we should have every right to criticize religion in general. No one should have to respect it. I would never criticize someone based on their race or ethnicity but religion? It's a problem.

Yep, he's not a racist. Not like a give a fuck, I'm voting libertarian.

White Liberals have overplayed the "that's raaaaaa-cist" thing.

The new Mayor of London,Sadiq Khan is one of the country's most prominent pro-LGBT British politicians.

    Ignorance is a bliss.
