So name it, we oughta know.

And not that you did this, but as a reminder: no petroleum-based lubes with latex condoms, which dissolves them. But do use latex-safe lube, because going dry causes pain and condom failures.

Wear an Extra Large condom if you're a big boy, and bring a spare! LOL!

BTW, my only condom failure was with a woman, nearly 30 years ago. I was wearing a regular-size, when I should have had an XL, but aside from that I can't think of another reason for the failure.

I didn't know it had broken until after I withdrew. She said she thought she had felt something. Well, then TELL ME! You wanna be pregnant? Not on MY list of things to do! LOL!

The pre-lubricated condom helps a little with a woman, but not a lot with a man. If you didn't additionally lube it generously with a latex-safe product, that may have been your problem.

It was probably just too old. How long have you been holding out?

The test of a real man, in my view. Not sure this is what you mean, but I'll use your comment to paint this scenario:

You're the top, you've almost reached the point of no return, and he starts yelling that he's hurting for lack of more lube.

But you haven't got any more lube. And just a half-dozen more strokes or so will finish you. What do you do?

Keep going and hurt him more? Deny yourself and stop immediately? Does a man even have the will power to do that?

    Your thoughts...

Use lots of lube. It has happened to me and I wasn't using any, not a good idea.

Well I think we needed more lube. This is my conclusion. Usually the Trojan condom is reliable and its true it had been in my wallet for about 6 months. So it could have been old, I just couldnt believe it broke. Its never happened before to me, and it was not expired. I checked the others I had in stock.

Another thing....if you are uncircumcised you need to roll back the foreskin before you put the condom on. Otherwise you will break it about 8 out of every 10 times.

I've had the same problem from keeping it in my wallet for a long time. I read some where not to keep them in the wallet for more then a week.icon_wink.gif

as a top or a bttm, i have noticed that the water based lubes don't "last" as long as the silicon based lubes do.

    Your thoughts...
continuing to pounds away when ur bttm yells for u to stop is akin to rape...at THIS point it is no longer consenual sex.

You shouldn’t keep a condom in the wallet. Keeping a condom in your wallet in your back pocket exposes it to nearly constant body heat and that breaks down the latex. Car glove compartments have the same problem but it’s the cars heat not your body heat. You need to store condoms at close to room temperature.

It would be best to keep them in a nightstand until needed. If you are going out to a party or other event (such as a date) where the likelihood of needing a condom is high then you can put one in your wallet so you will have it with you but don’t keep it in there for more than a few days.

Way back in the day I would keep an Altoid tin with condoms and lube packets.
