I don' t think our planet is treated nearly as well as it should be. A lot of bad stuff is put in the air like pollution. I try to do as much as i can to not pollute Earth. I think most pollution comes from big manufacturing companies and that they do not nearly do as much to avoid this as they should.

I feel like we are seeing the effects of this from the weather because it seems like very year it's getter hotter in summers and colder in winters and not to mention that disasters seem to get worse and worse killing many people.

We just need strict regulations on how much pollution is put in the air across the whole world. Im sure thats easier said than doneicon_exclaim.gif In a perfect world, the way our planet is treated would come first, but right now i don't feel like that is happening. What do u do to not pollute Earth and what do u think about the situationicon_question.gif

Nothing; people, in general, really don't care . . . they just want to eat, breed and stay warm (or cool)

People give lip service to the obvious situation, but in reality, maybe 5% really give a f

I've lived with this disappointment all my life, but that's how humans operate

The Earth already has about 2-3 billion too many people

Actually if the overwhelming majority of the world's current population shared in the wealth and resources rather than having all this crushing poverty and the serious social and environmental problems caused by it than having between five to seven billion people might not be so disastrous. That would also be dependent on us changing our development patterns, transportation preferences, and our attitudes towards one another.

I would say people care in general they just dont know how to do it. There are some who arent informed and they know who they are or maybe not ;) way more than 5% give an f. I think the world would benefit a lot if they would educate a lot more about these topics.

There are lots of people and it is growing. I think we are learning more as time goes on about how to get people around the most efficient, effective, and safest way as possible and technology is helping a lot with that.

The evidence here would suggest that those who not informed, seem to believe that they know it all. icon_rolleyes.gif

Come on, it's not growing at all. When I was 13, I collected aluminum and steel (yep steel) soda and beer cans (and glass bottles) for recycling . . . before the days of everything in plastic. It's gone downhill from there - - people, in general, really do not care. Just look at the absolute shit holes of Brazil, India and China.

How about most of our older northern US cities that were once proud and prosperous and than after World War Two we started fleeing from them and they declined into decayed, distressed, drug infested shitholes. Now the older first ring suburbs have been in the exact same vicious cycle of decline and disinvestment for the past three decades thus expanding the size of the shitholes. Both Detroit and Flint didn't just decline and deteriorate by osmosis they were both disinvested and abandoned as the more prosperous classes fled to their suburbs or to other parts of the U.S. It is pretty much the same sad song for most other older northern US cities. This is an ultimate symbol of our wasteful, throwaway society.

From my experience the amount of people here is growing. Sure people die everyday but people also procreate a ton. Just ask the duggers and kate plus 8. Also, i live in utah and there are a lot are mormons and they like bigg families. People keep demanding fuel to stay warm and have nice things( i cant really blame them) which puts pollution in the air. Btw the construction business is booming for a reason.

I agree tho that we have too many people as it is on earth but it is what it is. In some ways we need to go back in time in the way things were done like lower tuition and less pollution. However, in other ways we definately dont haha. But thats inflation and changing times :/ ;)
