I like your choice of artists. Mariah still has it. I saw her in concert in March her voice is better than ever. More power and she still hits the whistle register. Her music is not as consistent but she still has done good music. Fly like a bird from the Emancipation of Mimi I think is better than Vision of love and You'r mine was pretty good as well as #beautiful

The younger artists you derided have talent. JLo's voice has improved. Rihanna can sing when she works on training her voice. I've heard her in concert she does get lazy though and probably parties too much. But I like the emotional range of her voice. She does everything from dark rock, hip hop to country and house.

Beyonce is good and always taking herself to the next level and she's still young. Ariana has a great voice as does Nicki (even though I'm not a fan)

I was going to put the Brand New Heavies down. I've seen then several times. Only reason I didn't was because N'Dea is no longer with them. Incognito have done some good hits too.

Yeah N'Dea was great with the BNH. But actually one of the things I like about Incognito and BNH is how they've employed different vocalists through the years... adds some variety in their sound. And Incognito is an everchanging group of musicians and singers
