Threats like this should result in jail time. Sane conservatives are like 4 leaf cloves...Few and far between.

I think it's only the president of the USA who gets that respect and even that's limited, not quite lese majeste, so that a GOPer can loudly wish him to drop dead, just not threaten to drop him dead.

And I've got some years on you so I still remember when GOPers were not such freaks. Though I suppose reminiscing that would be like telling how I used to trek five miles through unplowed snow to get to school, but that was my grandparents' story; we had carpools.

More scary though then this threat is this stupidity...

    Article:
Their decisions, unlike the Roe v. Wade usurpation, don’t extend to the whole of society, they’re not supposed to. And we may have to reassert that proper constitutional balance, and it may not be pretty. So, I’d much rather have an election where we solve this matter at the ballot box than have to resort to the bullet box.

So not only is the guy a hypocrite because according to him the election result is only valid if he wins, but then to "correct" what he sees as invalid, he then seems to think there's some Constitutional mechanism (the 2nd Amendment militia, I presume) which he thinks he gets to "enact" as one of the balances of powers: that there's Congress, and of course there's the Executive Branch, and then there's the Courts, subject of his rage, and now a magical fourth branch of government: Rednecks with Guns.

This dog-whistle language is dangerously close to speech inciting violence, which is constitutionally UNPROTECTED.

He should choose his words wisely at the least, and I'd recommend he rethink his position. As the commenter above termed, the "Rednecks with Guns" branch of government is invalid.

Sure believes in democracy and the rule of law, doesn't he?
