Another reason why eponymizing your every business venture - especially when you're a liar - is probably a bad idea.

In blunt testimony revealed on Tuesday, former managers of Trump University, the for-profit school started by Donald J. Trump, portray it as an unscrupulous business that relied on high-pressure sales tactics, employed unqualified instructors, made deceptive claims and exploited vulnerable students willing to pay tens of thousands for Mr. Trump’s insights.

    A lie? Scheme?

Sorry, for a moment I thought you were talking about Trump's presidential campaign. Yes, the "university" program was also a lie and a scheme. Just like everything Trump does is a lie and a scheme.

Texas Governor Caught Accepting Bribe From Trump To End Investigation Into Trump University

"former Texas Attorney General is now Republican Governor Greg Abbott. He ended the case against Trump University, then a few years later received $35,000 in campaign contributions as his reward. All told, Donald Trump was facing a settlement cost of $5,400,000, but Texas Republican Greg Abbott let him off the hook with nothing more than a promise to leave Texas, leaving taxpayers on the hook for the costs of investigating, and leaving scammed students in the lurch."

I wouldn't hold my breath. This is too politically charged. No unbiased court would want to touch it.

And even if a court did bring an indictment, it wouldn't go to trial now until long after the November election. Even an indictment tomorrow wouldn't harm Trump's standing with his supporters.

As he's already said himself, he could commit murder and nobody would touch him. Nice guy to give the country's reins of power, right?
