A new study finds acceptance for same-sex relations has also skyrocketed.

    Wonder-fuckin-ful

This just gives religious bigots and bigots in general ammunition when arguing homosexuality is a choice - something you can just turn off and on and that well adjusted people move on while those who are stunted in their sexual maturity are left in a state of arrested development.

The press release also notes that the survey includes respondents’ attitudes about same-sex relations. Twenge, Sherman and Wells found that “between 1973 and 1990, the percentage of adults who believed ‘sexual relations between two adults of the same sex [was] not wrong at all’ hardly budged, rising from 11 percent to 13 percent.” However, since 1990, they found that acceptance has skyrocketed to “49 percent of all adults and 63 percent of Millennials in 2014.”

    Stephenoabc:

I do not think "Gay and Bisexual men are only 10-12% of the population" will hold.

For years people have been quoting Kinsey's 10% statistic but there's another one they seem to have overlooked: way back in the day, Kinsey found that 50% (fifty percent!!!) of men who remain single to the age of 35 have had at least one same sex encounter.

With more men waiting longer and longer to marry, kinda makes ya wonder, don't it?

It makes one wonder why hypocritical Gays and Lesbians threw Bisexuals under the Marriage "Equality" bus. Which state(s) allow a Bisexual to marry a man and woman?

Sorry sweetie but marriage is not and never has been about love or sexual attraction. It's all about legal rights and tax liability. Same sex marriage solves a lot of genuine legal problems. Polygamy only makes things more complicated.

And by the way, let me know when you find that magical man AND woman who want to be your "two and only".

Course you could always marry the chick and adopt the dude as your son...

I'm glad for the up and coming downlow that they get to benefit from all the hard work we put into this, our being out and proud, our risking family relations and employment positions, our putting ourselves on the front line either by protest or outing ourselves or participating in Pride, by forum participation and not just Craigslist, by Tweeting, however we managed to engage the system to help bring about change for the better: dignities and rights to marry, et al.

But now that most of the hard work has been done--not that there isn't still a lot to do plus eternal vigilance, I feel that by our pioneering Gay Rights that we've homesteaded somewhat here and therefore we're owed royalties.

I'm not sure how the payment plan would work, possible a stipend per orgasm. I've already contacted ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Penises) in this matter.

    You're welcome.

Anyone well educated knows about The Kinsey Studies. Decades ago, The Kinsey Studies documented that bisexuality is the norm.

    This is all old news.

You could move to South Africa and have several wives and/or husbands.
