Sorry, but this is a disturbing picture for gay pride poster, the Jews seem to push for co-existence between religion(s) and gay(s), that wont work in the US, I wish they would stop pushing religion on everyone, non religious Amsterdam Gay Pride is much better icon_confused.gif

The Jews are in fantasy land, this is definitely a Neptune influence. This is the reason the US-Israel relations are currently strained, our constitution separates church from state. The Israel gays (Log Cabin equivalent) can do what they want, but I wish they would stop trying on this front, its too obvious and a bit annoying

Our town has rainbow flags flying everywhere for June, including from all the street light poles along our main drive. Plus 2 weeks ago we had the dedication of the city's official rainbow flag, that will fly permanently from its own newly-installed pole at the City Hall park.

Here's the entire Wilton Manors, Florida city commission at the flag dedication ceremony, plus the Parks Commissioner raising the flag. The Mayor is holding a declaration making it Gay Flag Day -

    "June is all about Pride!!"

ONLY if there is socially something to lose. Otherwise, it is just another year of "gay sex and EGO".

There is always something to lose... Too many places where you can be arrested or even sentenced to death if you are not straight.

Apparently NOT in those US cities where "gay" men cavort sexily in the streets practically naked, after 6 months of muscling up at the gym.

Not a surprising statement from someone whose RJ profile reads:

"I accept homosexuality but I don't accept gay men. If that statement confuses you, we're probably not on the same page and I would appreciate you not ask me about it."

Yah know, this is a site for gay men. If you don't accept us, then why are you here? (ACCEPT gay men??? What the Hell does THAT mean???)

What is your purpose? To annoy & disrupt? We have enough of you characters here, we don't need another. icon_razz.gif

I do not know the fellow, nor have I read his profile.

I read this and think he MAY be saying that sexual/emotional attraction between those of the same gender is perfectly fine...but when such people make sexual expression their IDENTITY, their central focus in life, then there could be a problem.

It's about being happy with who you are regardless of what your're attracted to.
Enjoy life and the freedom to be!

Gay, straight or someplace in between.

    Happy Pride to all.....

If you're referring to me, you would be wrong. I have multiple interests. On a motorcycle site, my identity would gravitate to motorcycles. That's what I would mostly chat about. On a military site, I chat about my former career in uniform, and issues concerning service members, active and retired. I previously had my own site that dealt with disabled gay men. The focus being on their disabilities and dealing with them. Being a disabled gay myself.

This is a gay health & fitness site. That's what identifies me HERE. You'll find my posts cover lots of bases. Health, nutrition, gay rights, gay relationships, a whole boatload of stuff that interests guys in many areas. To include cars, bicycles, motorcycles, a laundry list. Hell, I created (with a former site owner's approval) the RJ forum "Outdoor Life".

So if your comment is meant for me, I'm not sure it fits.

No, I refer to no one in particular...is JUST an interpretation of the aforementioned comment (you saw in his profile).

The more I'm involved with the gay community the less and less I find reason to be proud about it.

Damn, they couldn't even get an Asian for the yin and yang symbol. I'm beginning to think Asians ARE the red headed stepchildren of the gay community as they claim.

Why are we STILL talking about this?

Here is the comment you shared from the fellow's profile: "I accept homosexuality but I don't accept gay men. If that statement confuses you, we're probably not on the same page and I would appreciate you not ask me about it."

I read the excerpt and it appeared clear enough to me to give a GENERAL summation of it . My summation was not negative nor meant to be negative.

I do not understand, Art_Deco, WHY you are making an issue of this.

I dunno, why are YOU? You proposed a strained excuse for someone's profile entry, without admittedly ever actually reading the profile itself. Just my extract from it. I think someone who puts "I accept homosexuality but I don't accept gay men" into his RJ profile may beg an explanation from the author himself. Nice that you volunteered on his behalf, but doesn't quite close the book.

And what *I* don't understand is why you are so unremittingly negative about being gay. For example in this thread, in response to the OP wishing to express a positive view of Gay Pride Month.

Whereas the more I'm involved with the gay community the more and more I find reason to be very proud of it. Perhaps you are seeing only the ass-end of the "elephant". See some of the other parts of the elephant and you might get a different impression.

Few people have similar lives under similar enough conditions to see life the same way, Art_Deco. In THIS instance, you don't seem to want to give space...is as if you INSIST upon belaboring a point, in "being right".

Well, you need to back off, bud. The "gay" community is NOT a bastion of warm social inclusive acceptance--a visit to THIS FORUM is evidence enough.
