My heartfelt wishes to the victims and other clubgoers and law enforcement, and their families, in Orlando.

Between this and the Plaza Live shooting, this is a sickening weekend in O-Town.

Horrific events at the hands of an ignorant bigot with multiple guns. Very sad morning for the country and the people of Orlando and Florida. My thoughts and prayers to all involved. Very sad day for our country!

Cue the sick Internet jokes that are sure to follow. Maybe Chik-Fil-Hate will have another "customer appreciation day."

Tragic, but from what I read so far the gunman had an altercation with a cop outside, then ran into club to get hostages. Not sure if it was gay targeting.

FBI says gunman may have 'leanings to radical Islamic terrorism' and it is being investigated as 'an act of terrorism. Reports are that he was wearing a suicide vest. Luckily, it didn't go off, otherwise hundreds could have been killed.

Orlando Hospitals now need blood donations. What ashame that most gays are restricted from giving blood. This can be changed by Executive Order. I guess tranny bathroom access is more important.

As of now, 50 dead and 53 injured in worst mass shooting in US history. I hope that people focus on the tragedy itself and not on the fact that the shooting occurred at a gay night club. I have a feeling that some people are probably even rejoicing because of the sexual orientation of the victims.

I see you Democrats waste no time with the disinformation campaigns.

FBI is investigating it as Radical Islamic Terrorism.

How can a radicalized Islamic terrorist BUY GUNS THIS EASILY in our country?

Seriously, we need background checks that work.

Yes, you know that is going to happen. They will be saying this is God's punishment for all of us living in "sin".

Have laws making pot "illegal" prevented people from buying it?

Guns are easily available on the black market. Always have been.

    More than just cheer.

Crowds of Muslims wait to stone the lifeless bodies after ISIS throws gays off buildings.

And I am guessing you support law abiding citizens to be armed as well? Suppose you have two armed criminals and they start shooting. The criminals would care less if the public got hit by some bullets. Now suppose law abiding citizens have fire-arms. Should they start shooting too? This is NOT the wild west. This is not a computer game. Ordinary citizens will flee in terror and just because you might a law abiding citizen and have a perfect aim what make you so sure you will be certain you will incapacitate the criminals?

I am going to sound very prejudiced but Islam, to me, sounds like an ideology as well as a religion. How many protest against non-halal meat? First generation Muslims in the US whose parents were born abroad might feel disillusioned with their parents because they are moderate. Yes, moderate Muslims seem to exist but then their children become radicalised because they are not happy with the West and start saying they are more religious than their parents, they rebel and perhaps find other groups to fit in.

Then you have these Muslim imams in Malaysia and Indonesia saying things like gymnasts cannot wear clothing that make their breasts look big or that husbands are allowed to hit their wives gently?

An Egyptian broadcaster was sent to jail to criticising some aspects of Islam...

In Bangladesh there are secular bloggers hacked to death because of suspected Islamists

All over the world we are seeing radicalisation... Tell me I am wrong

Laws have never prevented felons from obtaining weapons.

As for the law abiding citizens - they should act the same as police - which is NEVER discharge a firearm where innocent lives are put risk.
