So recently I have been trying to send mail on Realjock, and I have noticed that when I go to send the mail, it says that no recipient has been selected, even though I clicked the mail button next to the user's name. So I am either a tech idiot, or RJ has decided not to preset the user's name when sending mail...I will give this site the benefit of the doubt, but if this is a permanent setting, then that might be one of the dumbest things i've seen in a while and RJ might wanna change this, because the new site isn't sitting well with me. Why was the site revamped when there isn't even a chat section STILL, or an app? No one complained about the look of the site, they complained about a million other things that apparently aren't a priority, even though us users give this site purpose. Should I boycott this site or...thoughts anyone?

On a side note too, if I keep seeing more feminine men on this site wearing makeup and weighing 110 lbs, with no desire to achieve fitness goals, I really am boycotting this site. PSA for all feminine men: everyone knows you're gay so finding dates shouldn't be a problem, and conventionally masculine men actually need platforms like this to find each other and connect, and if we wanted feminine guys we know where to find you. This is site is for FITNESS first, and you should be a jock if you're going to be actively using this site. You may call me someone who is being a bigot, but i'm not going on a gay makeup site and promoting my gym routine, so it makes sense if you don't do the same kind of thing here. I understand you want to look at attractive guys, but you can do so without trying to join a community you have nothing in common with other than having a hard dick which isn't good enough.

who are you to determine who is doing fitness or who is not? And did anyone told you you are masculine or you just made that up about yourself?

Usernames show up for me when replying or sending from a profile. I haven't had a problem sending messages, but this newer layout is absolutely dreadful. Everything looked better back when the logo was this:

    Logo-realjock-com.gif

There will always be a sizeable effeminate element present in anything gay-related.

I can't stand this new layout either. Damn! I could have come up with a better system.

Hmmm......that gives me an idea! icon_cool.gif

Light weight and fitness are a good match ..
You do not need to have 25 kilogs of muscle to be fit , swimmer's and runner's body has a lower fat ratio which is what is recommended by any physician .
Lighter weight also are better for your joints/articulations ( hip , knees , angles and feet )

I think you're trying to separate yourself from the feminine too much, you don't want to acknowledge it in you because you're ashamed to be expressive, otherwise you'd just let people live the way they want and you wouldn't be so offended by their way of life....

I think it's time to retire the "he must be secretly fem/gay" retort. Would you tell a white guy that hates black people that he must be secretly black inside? He also never said fems couldn't live the way they want. You can totally find certain types of people odd or off-putting without any inner conflict.

Oh please. This site was never about fitness. It was a guise to attract all the homos with nice bodies. This resulted in the gay masses to join the site, and browse through profiles pics to jack off to. It's the life cycle of all gay profile sites. I mean, look at the some of the new/recent threads. They're all threads asking for jack off buddies on skype. Or "workout partners" in their area. Even the fitness articles haven't been updated in the 8+ years I've been on here.

All the guys that are actually serious about fitness have gone back to Bodybuilding.com or other forums specific to their sports. If the "feminine" guys here bother you so much, then you should leave. The site will not change to your desires. The site owners/admins are hands off and are just letting this place rot slowly.

Yes, the OP went on a mini rant against fem guys on here. I don't agree with him. But I do think he is making the same point that many gay men make about straight women in gay clubs. And about straight people moving into gay areas. Truth is that inclusion is great if you're the minority group wanting to be included in the majority community. But in the reverse, the more inclusion you add, the more the minority groups gets diluted. So when you have a subculture that wants to create a safe, preservation community based its tendencies there's a sense of "we need to be territorial because we'll get outnumbered if we let the majority in." You have to balance the inclusion:dilution ratio. Both sides have valid points. One big balancing act.

If you are willing to boycott the site over the present of effeminate men, then do it. My experience is that those claiming to be butch, simply are not that butch and are obviously gay.

I welcome participation from all types--jock, twink, masculine, feminine, muscular, lean, transgender, gay, bi, black, white, brown, big-dicked, small-dicked, tall, pocket, Muslim, Christian, top, bottom, democrat, republicunt, versatile, ho, drunk, junkie, kleptomanic, nymphomaniac, sociopath, psychopath, etc., etc., etc. I learn more from this site than from many self-professed content-based social media. Keep them coming.

news flash; realjock was NOT created just for your needs. It is the property of some one else. You got skills, go forward and create.

just as makeup, clothing and a hard dick dosnt make a man it dosnt subtract from them either. Real value is in honesty, loyalty, conviction, drive... So sad these things are more difficult to measure. You cant love all of gods creations but you must respect them. Basically you want the members who dont carry your label to leave or you will boycott the site. No one needs to leave.

Then the site could put up more barriers to entry. Require that the person has a certain look. Remove all of the forums that are not about fitness or require that you have a certain number of post in fitness related forums to post in non fitness related forums.. If you or the OP were passionate about this you could create your own site. Ning.com still exist and it make creating very niche communities very easy. Plenty of other communities online actually require you to answer questions or tell them more about yourself before being allowed to join. This site is set up to look and behave like a meat market first and gay fitness site last.

For me, the hyperlink color is the same as default font color if you're not moused over the link, so you can't at-a-glance tell if something IS a link or not. If that's consistent for other browsers (Firefox atm), it's a major fail.

EDIT: And when editing your profile, the About Me box is like 3 lines high, vertically. You can barely see what you're doing in there.

The site changes, you have a point. I haven't been here in a long while and the layout is weird now and I don't particularly like it.

The "fem" guy thing, well, they are not my type of guy I would want to date, but they have the same right to be a member of this website as you do. I don't see them hurting anyone or causing a scene or anything. I am sure if you're looking for "masc" guys, looking at their profile pictures should suffice in you filtering out who you want physically. Also, I haven't seen a single thread ever on here about doing make-up, so yeah... and even if I did, I would just, you know, not click it.

Yes, as said or implied by numerous posters above, anyone like the OP who says or thinks anything politically incorrect should immediately leave the site so as not to disturb us who hold the enlightened and perfect views of life, the world and everything.

The OP is also wrong about the site changes. I love the new blurry pictures on profile, not knowing where anything is and having to scroll down forever on the main page.

I didn't say "he must secretly be fem" we all have fem side to us, that's why we have nipples its just a fact.......What I'm getting at is the reason people look down at certain aspects of others its because they uaually abhor it in themselves and it shows when they write a lengthy rant about bullshit, I just call it when i see it
