I nearly threw my couch at my television set today listening to that scumbag Republican governor of ours in front of God and everyone dissing our community during this horror. That GOPutz refused to even mention the word Gay, not once, not even in alphabet form, not once, not one mention of LGBT, not one mention that this shooter attacked a gay bar, not one mention of the LGBT Community, not one fucking message of acknowledgment from this scumbag Republican governor of Florida.

So instead of damaging my television set, I turned it off and walked away for a bit. Later I watched some more. What a horrible fucking day. But this time when I turned on the TV there was an announcement from CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations. I fully expected it to be as despicable as the Republican Florida Governor's response.

But no, they rightfully acknowledged us where the GOP Gov Scott refused to even mention us in our hour of such need of government support. Can you imagine anything more disgusting than an Islamic Extremist shooting us to death, well, other than a Republican Governor's refusal to acknowledge us in life, refusing to name us in death.

    Fuck you Republicans. Fuck you.

Here is Gov Fuckface Scott, Republican of Florida refusing to acknowledge us

while I was looking for a youtube of his disgusting speech, I found this poster noticed the very same slight...

Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) on Sunday refused to acknowledged that the LGBT community had been targeted by a shooter who killed at least 50 people at a gay-themed night club.

During an interview on CNN, host Jake Tapper pointed out that the LGBT community “appears to have been directly targeted in this attack.”

“There are a lot of members of that community and supporting friends and family who are very worried,” Tapper explained. “Obviously if this was radical Islam, which the special agent in charge of the FBI suggested it may have been, that is a community that has been under siege from radical Islam.”

“Are you taking any special precautions,” the CNN host wondered, “especially during Pride month, but also in Florida, which is known as being hospitable to the gay and lesbian community, to make sure that community is protected?”

Scott, however, declined to acknowledge the LGBT community in his response.

And now for a representative from the Muslim Community who states:

@0.40: ...for many years, members of the members of the LGBTQIA (he knows more initials than did I) have stood shoulder to shoulder with the Muslim community (well, what do you expect, many of us are partial to cut guys) against any acts of hate we stand with them...

...the liberation of the Muslim community is profoundly linked to the liberation of other minority groups, blacks, Latinos, gay, Jewish, trans...that has faced discrimination in this country....

So who is our friend? This Muslim gentleman from CAIR or that GOP Governor Piece of Republican?

Seems I'm not the only one who noticed.... Gov. Rick Scott (R) on Sunday refused to acknowledged that the LGBT community had been targeted by a shooter who killed at least 50 people at a gay-themed night club...

Perhaps we'll notice all the RJepublicans complain that this Republican insult to our LGBT community at this most horrific time has not yet been picked up by mainstream news.

Jun 13, 2016 4:44 PM GMT Republicans mention LGBT community in Orlando reactions

In a statement released around the same time, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) repeatedly mentioned the LGBT community. "While many questions have yet to be answered, the pain of this attack in a mainstay of the Orlando LGBT community is surely magnified as our nation celebrates LGBT Pride month," she said.

Similarly, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) did not mention the LGBT community in his reaction....

Neither Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) or Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) — all members of key national security committees — mentioned the LGBT aspect.

Oh what fun, we're an aspect.

Scott is unfortunately more reflective of the general feelings of Republicans than we'd like to believe. He wants poor people to die (no Medicaid for you!), AK47's in the hands of every NRA crazy, and Miami can just flood because climate denial is another Republican test of purity (so stupid that it is a faith issue). And lastly, he hates gays-- probably not for any real reason, just because it rallies the Republican base to give them another group to hate. And drives donations. This is the person Republicans love to elect. Trump? Not really further down the stupid trail, just more obvious.
